This was a great buy for me. I like the rectangular shape, size, reasonable weight, handle, wheels, and drainage options. Filter access is easy. The unit ships with the drainage tube and a coupling to attach the included tube to a garden hose if you need it. The product arrived well packed in a bag with foam cushioning top and bottom, loose parts are bagged/covered. Plastic strapping holds it all together.The box is closed with tamper indicating tape. Great.Full size instructions in English, no squinting! The one year warranty is extended by another year if you register. Directions to contact the manufacturer if you have a problem/question are everywhere: in the instruction bag and on the dehumidifier. Adhesive labeling on the dehumidifier have little tabs to make removal easy if you want. Who thinks about such details... a manufacturer who is thinking about the consumer. 👍🏽In my location, I found this dehumidifier MUCH quieter than any dehumidifier that I have ever had at all fan speeds. For myself, I would not hesitate to use this dehumidifier in any room.When turned on the first time, room humidity read about 68% at 75F. In an hour, the humidity dropped from 68 to 58%.I am directly draining into a sink. If you cannot drain directly, and have a lot of humidity, you might want to consider whether emptying the bucket will be a nuisance. The bucket is not the largest available. The bucket handle works well. The bucket should last for years, but it is not the most impressive component.The absence of "electronic"/remote and fancy programs/scheduling do-dads etc -- is okay for me. I just want it to run for years. I will definitely check into this dehumidifier brand, if I ever need another one.

The positive reviews seem very accurate thus far. I've had the unit for 4 days. Humidity % in my basement went from low 70's to low 50's very quickly. Holding nicely in the low 50's. I used the provided hose drainage system which was easy to set up and appears to be working flawlessly. You absolutely must make sure that the hose is positioned completely downward to the drain to let gravity do the work of fully draining. If you use the bucket, yes, it's a bit small but not a concern to me. The unit is very quiet compared to 3 other dehumidifiers that I've owned. Unit came very well packaged with extremely clear and well-written instructions. Electric utilization to be determined. The unit boasts an Energy Star rating so I'm expecting efficiency. Seems well built. I like the 5-year warranty on the compressor and the 2-year overall warranty if you register the unit. All dehumidifiers seem to stop working correctly after a few years. I still recommend purchasing the 4-year relatively inexpensive warranty. I've done this for every dehumidifier I've ever purchased and it has paid off nicely. I highly recommend this dehumidifier based on this evaluation thus far. Lastly, I purchased a separate digital indoor hygrometer for about $12 to double check the unit's built-in humidity gage accuracy. I'm expecting a fairly close match to within 2-3 % which is the accuracy level of most of these inexpensive, home-use hygrometers.

The relative humidity in our 1600 sq ft house has been 75%+ all summer. It was gross and musty and certain items were growing mold/mildew. In desperation I bought a random humidifier on Amazon and it wasn't powerful enough to make any difference. In two days it was <50% and has remained there.The tank fills up three times a day (every 8 hours)... it has been removing that much water from our air! The unit is very low maintenance: regularly emptying the tank is all I've had to do so far.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. I had a household problem, bought an affordable product, and the problem was solved. If only every purchase went this well.Pros:It works! I bought a second one for the basement of a city duplex. As good as the first I bought last year for the cottage.

J'ai acheté ce modèle en remplacement d'un autre que j'ai retourné. Il semble bien car je peux voir l'eau couler dans le tuyau transparent, sauf que l'humidité à baissé de seulement 5 degré en 3 jours, il faut dire que nous avons une température exceptionnellement humide ces temps ci alors je vais attendre que la température change un peu et j'aurai une meilleure idée de l'efficacité de l'appareil.Finalement l'humidité est baissée de 20 degrés et je vois toujours l'eau passer dans le tuyau transparent et je peux la voir sortir au bout. Donc en gros je suis très satisfaite de mon achat.

I moved into a basement apartment for the first time and started having issues with all my belongings just being *damp* now that summer hit. I've had this guy plugged in for about a day now and it managed to pull 5 full tanks of water already and dragged the humidity down from almost 90% to around 50% (measured by the unit itself). I'm in love with it so far and the only downside has been the included drain hose being too short to be even near useful for auto-draining, and that's easily fixed by buying a longer hose.

I had another unit running for 2 weeks did not improve reducing humidity. I purchased this one and within 30mins it was pulling humidity very well, very impressive unit.
