Apparently, I was using this wrong. No matter how much of an urge you get to wash twice with this, Avoid. *Any face wash you use on your face twice will have a tendency to dry your face out.* Wash your face only once. Once I did that, this works very well. After that was explained to me, I gave this one another shot, now I'm leaning toward getting another bottle. I still want to feel this one out and will update in case but it seems to be looking good. It is effectively hyrdating my face and I could feel the smoothness, big difference. Update: Still seems to be working like a charm. Great product. Original review: Nothing hydrating about it This is the first soap that's dried my face out to this level. I've used african soap in the past from Dr. Woods and I read I should get something especially for my face, this worked worst than the african and castille soap so I'm surprised and disappointed.

Very good wash...especially if you like tea tree. It washes well. Foams well. Smells great. Lasts a long time. Will definitely buy again.

I really like this wash. It’s not overly drying, which happens for me using tea tree products. My friend had this that I had tried and then purchased here. Took off one star for the leak during shipping. It’s weird though because the cap was all the way tightened, but it looks like the source of the leak. Still do not know where it leaked from. Product was sealed in plastic, so it did not make a mess in packaging.

**UPDATE** I am a return customer and the product that I purchased again is not the same product that I purchased in the past. The old product came in a clear bottle. The old product was much thicker in viscosity, it lathered up better, it cleaned better, it left the skin so much more cleaner. Hell, the only issue that I would actual have of the old product is that you really had to give a good rinse because of how thick the soap was. And I cannot say this is a bad thing as this was a sign that it was a solid product. The new "formula" comes in a blue bottle and the soap is much more watery. It does not lather very well at all. It does not leave your face feeling cleaned very well. The scents are so dumbed down. What happened? Why would a company change such a wonderful product? Can Botanic Hearth bring back the old formula? Yep, I am a dude, writing a review for a face wash. Why? Because as a dude who normally could care less about face washes in general, I am here to say this this face wash is very good. So good that the woman I am dating was very impressed with it and suggested that we get it for my mother. So good that I am ordering it again as a gift for said mother. That should say something about this product. This wash truly leaves your face feeling clean, with no "tingly" after affect, no residue, no scent, just simply clean and refreshed. I have used other face washes in the past and I wanted something with less chemicals, something more natural with natural ingredients. This wash ticked those boxes. So, give this wash a shot. If it can impress someone like me, I would think it will do the same for you.

This stuff is great better than the others. I deal with break outs and have rosea. This stuff works been using it for months and big difference. I was going to the doctors for a while because of my skin different meds they tried, different soaps. Finally I read about this stuff and now I tell everyone forget the other stuff you see in the stores give this stuff a try. I use it in the morning and at night when I shower. Friends and family all tell me this is stuff they love. Just try it you won’t regret it.

Feels amazing on your face, love the tingles! Face feels super clean and it smells amazing and fresh. My skin does not dry out as others have said, but I also use moisturizer every day, so. Would highly recommend! My face has never felt better! Will buy again.

Usually I would keep buying the small bottles of tea tree face wash from the body shop but was getting tired of constantly buying them and paying like $6 every time so I wanted something that’s bigger and doesn’t force me to buy every 3 weeks. This stuff is great. My boyfriend and I both use it daily and it lasts SO long we just do one pump lather it up and it washes up nicely. First time i bought this was April 2025 and I didn’t have to buy another bottle until like November 2025 which is crazy to me. Really leaves your face feeling fresh and clean but does not give any tingles that tea tree usually does so it’s okay to use near the eyes (as long as they’re closed obviously) This will be our go-to 100% of the time!!
