***update, reached out to support they sent me a 20lbs box of Orchard grass as replacement. It was a super easy process and very much appreciate it! The animals are loving the orchard, good quality replacement. 1 star review went to 5 stars***** I feel bad leaving a poor review. But I honestly so upset with this quality. This is my second time purchasing the 25lbs box. First time was AMAZING. Arrived well before estimated date, soooooooooo full, like as soon you open the box be prepared for it to explode aha. And the quality of hay was phenomenal. I have guinea pigs, rabbits, and a chinchilla. Guinea pigs will eat anything. Rabbits are picky, and chinchilla is even pickier! Tried many brands, and local hay, but the first time I bought the pet select hay was the first time I had ever seen so little hay wasted. Even the chinchilla was eating 50% of the hay (normally he only eats 5%, so dang picky lol) . So I was excited to purchase again, but now this one, idk if it’s just a bad batch. Or if my first experience was just a. Really good batch. But this one feels sooo much like straw. Now even my guinea pigs who normally eat 95% plus of the hay I put in the rack are hardly eating 50% of it. They throwing it all to the side because it’s so hard and straw like. I’m hoping as I go through the box it gets better... but dang :( My fingers are crossed that this is just a fluke because that first purchase experience was amazing. But if the rest are like this then I’m definitely better off buying the local stuff.

The hay arrived way before the estimated delivery time wich was supposed to be on december 28, it seemed reasonable to me when i placed the order on december 14. But what a surprise it was when it showed up on my doorstep on the 21st, a full week before! It came packed nicely in a big convenient box, and when opening it you can smell that the hay is nice and fresh! Most importantly, my little Eevee loves her new hay!! She cant get enough of it and always has her head buried in it looking for the best pieces!! I will definitely buy some again once it runs out and can easily recommend this product to anyone who wants to make their little bunny happy!

We had 4 bunnies in our home, a Mini Rex, 2 Dwarf Lion Heads, and a Netherland dwarf. After we lost our Netherland dwarf due to Stasis I did a considerable amount of research to discover that 2nd Cutting Hay is considered one of the highest qualities of hay you can purchase for your bunnies, so I decided to give it a try. My bunnies did seem to enjoy the new hay and one of our Dwarf Lion Heads was even doing binky's after eating her hay, so I highly encouraged a friend of mine to buy some for her bunnies as well. Again her bunnies enjoyed this hay so we decided we would stick strictly with buying this hay for all of our bunnies in the future. My order arrived roughly a week earlier than expected which was a nice and pleasant surprise and the same thing occurred when my friend ordered hers. The hay comes in a fairly large cardboard box and the hay is the full length of the box. It was a nice green hay and kept nice in our basement. But since February the price has steadily been going up but the quality of hay hasn't changed, if anything the quality of hay has somewhat decreased. I have since started buying locally! I have been watching the price so I could purchase another box but every time I come on to check out the price, it is significantly higher than the previous time. Although this is considered a higher quality of hay, I would recommend saving yourself quite a bit of money and simply buying the Oxbow or Kaytee brands. Although those brands are maybe not considered as high of quality, they are both good brands, way cheaper plus you will receive a lot more hay, and my bunnies are just as happy with those brands. If the price were to return to the original price, I would highly encourage everyone to buy simply for the fact that this is considered higher quality and my dwarf lion head did do binky which was cute, but with the price hike, it is simply not affordable when you can go over to your closest pet store and buy locally and your bunnies will not even notice the change enough to make up for the price hike, mine didn't even seem to notice a difference when I had to switch back. UPDATE: January 2022. Because my bunnies enjoyed this so much in the past, I decided to give another box a try despite the price. I have to say I was very disappointed as my bunnies are refusing to eat the hay. The quality is not as described it has lots of brown and is very dry, not soft green as described. I paid $119.99 plus tax for a big box of hay that my bunnies are wasting because they don't care for it, for this price I expected high-quality hay as advertised.

Video is of second, current order. Two photos are from the first time order which was great!! They loved it!! Photos are of my female chow hound who is always looking to eat!! The pictures look identical, however she did this two days in a row. Sitting on top of a glory mountain eating as fast as she can!! She knows that I will probably be along soon and catch her as the dog who grabs mouthfuls of hay dragging it across the floor into the living room where he then starts to hack. He is a dead giveaway!! My male bun went missing one night after a great time being out of the pen. Their cages were done and ready with all the fixins. He didn’t come for “Timmy-Hay” “Bunny-Biscuit” (treat made with the hay), finally not even for a blueberry!! The dogs were hearing something which alerted me to the pantry that the animals food is stored in. I didn’t see him right away, but I’m about 15 seconds he gave away his position!!! Yep, inside the already closed box!! So that’s how much they loved the first order!!!! What happened to your hay?? This is my second order of the 25 lb box. It seems as though the second order curse has came to me as well?? This was my biggest concern, trepidation before I even ordered my first box from this business. I asked myself, did I want to go through the disappointment not just for me but more importantly, for my Hun Buns!! I sought out a more “superior quality product” than typicality offered by brand stores, and then the trouble I would have to go through if this same problem happens to me. Based on reviews, I took a chance and trusted that certainly a small business advertising a handpicked quality product wouldn’t want to be identified or plagued as knowingly and yet continually selling a product who’s inconsistency is it’s guaranty. Perhaps, by the time I need to order again quality control issues would have been addressed and I should be ok. Well, I was wrong the odds are increasing against the consumers of this business, which brings about suspicion as to the validity of the reviews, and more startling is the absence of a response to these many, many complaints of the same product, repeated reports regarding such complaints as, questioning the product received is not what was ordered, quality and age of product, when, how and where this product is stored, although it shouldn’t be stored in large quantities, as they advertise of hand selected, yet complaints of bugs and mold inside the hay are in abundance as well. My second order was of same size and type of “hand selected Timothy 2nd cut!” Hay was placed. A lot of reviews from people have had the same issues with their 2nd order! of the same product. I observed the following conditions upon visual, tactile, sense of smell comparison to previous order and of course the recipients, my two rabbits with completely different eating habits, both demonstrating reluctancy to eat their hay in the manner they have always eaten their hay. They normally have their hay racks filled 5-6 times in 24 hrs. They might have it filled 2-3 times with a third to a half thrown around to find the best pieces. It’s seems like now it’s a chore to eat. The excitement, anticipation and physical activity, and antics of happiness previously observed in both bunnies when told or seen they were getting their “Timmy-Hay” with the last order received demonstrated of inspection Quality is poor, very dry texture, yet limp, visual coloring variations noted from-little light green-yellowing-brownish, the typical sweet aroma that one comes to appreciate is lacking, overall length is very short choppy, very dusty, found several patches of saw dust type consistency shake in many areas after I grab a hand full of hay! Normal finding, but usually towards bottom fourth-eighth of box. Very small too none visible or actually found seed buds, I counted 7 total out of the approximately 2 inches I may have used out of this box. with none noticed at current level left at either. This is a characteristic is usually well seen and in abundance without having to dig to find in 2nd cut hay! This box certainly doesn’t compare to the great quality, aroma, dark green color throughout and texture of hay I received in my first order. nor does it come close to the photos offered by this Company of the various cuts and their descriptions as to what you can expect. comparison to previous order of 2nd cut with scarce if any budsin color and type of cut is in question I haven’t seen a response from business owner taking responsibility or offering to make it right! Sometimes products can inadvertently slide by the quality control inspection, although it’s supposed to be “handpicked” Then a final affirmation in order accuracy should be completed before order is cleared to ship. Order forms in hand of employee, contain customer information, shipping address and billing confirmed paid, as well as products ordered, quantity and so on. The labels are put on the box, an identifier number or letters associated with this employee is written on box/label or document symbolizing order checked by employee-abc/123 and placed in the ready to be shipped area. I can appreciate
