I’m a retired architect and wanted some yellow trace paper for a project we were doing and couldn’t find it anywhere. Staples had no idea what it was and there are no art stores nearby. Thankfully I found it at Amazon

you can trace a pantograph on this aper then pin it to your quilt and machine or hand quilt the design easily. Then tears away cleanly.

Have used since I was architectural student: still love this tracing for all kinds of idea propagation to my staff. It is so cheap and so useful uses layers like Photoshop (or Photoshop stole the idea of layers from bienfang). This is semitransparent paper. You sketch, jot ideas, then scan or photo it and email it to everyone. Say you have to furnish an apartment, you design the basic layout on one sheet, then on new sheet layered over the first one, you place furniture placements and ideas. If you need refinements, corrections, it is transparent material so you can overlay new layer on top of your sketch and rework! Fabulous.

I really like this paper for sketching out early concepts. Something about it makes me feel free to draft out half baked concepts and discard them easily for a better formed-one by rolling out a little more paper. I like the yellow/cream color, no particular practical reason, just speaks "rough concept" to me I suppose. I've had good luck with the Bienfang brand although I haven't tried any others. I typically use this on top of an A3 sheet of quad-ruled paper, which shows through and provides light guidelines, also cushions the pencil or pen somewhat. I would definitely buy again, although this roll will last me quite a long time expect :)

Value for money

This is an architect's standard tracing paper for design sketches, and should be in every architect's tool box. Same as it has been for decades, thank goodness for a manufacturer that has kept up its quality standards.

After years of having a roll of trace paper in my supplies, I finally ran out. I went to multiple stores around me only to not find any like this. Clearly it's been years since I had to look for it. Thankfully it dawned on me to look on Amazon and I found exactly what I needed for a great price. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Well sure, it's great for rough drafts or sketches in urban design work. But I also use it for creative gift wrapping, making patterns for sewing and rug hooking, even a temporary window treatment when I needed to block a view but keep light coming in.

Carta da schizzo giallo canarino. Ottimo supporto per schizzare e disegnare con matita, biro o pennarelli. La carta è estremamente fine e delicata. Trasparenza congrua con il colore giallo della carta stessa. Spedizione perfetta.
