Great value for the Arrma Groms
I really like these tires - I mounted them on my Mojave Grom blx. They give you good grip but are still easy enough to break loose and slide. Fitment was good and I've had no problem with hexes rounding like I've heard of on some cheaper brands. Keep in mid they do need to be glued! This is quick and easy though. Size is what you would expect - good fitment on the 1/16 Arrma Groms. I've really beaten them on a variety of cement/asphalt etc and they are starting to show some wear, so they'll probably need to be rotated soon. Durability is good - I got a small chip from slamming sideways into a bump, but I honestly think anything else would've completely broke. Price is good too - I think it's a hard value to beat on Amazon.

Must buy
Absolutely great tire. Just glue the tires and it’s amazing. Bought a second pair as I test drove these

Arrma Typhon Grom 3S BLX - High uneven wear in warmer weather. Fair performance in cooler temps.
ARRMA Typhon Grom 3S: The tires offer enough grip to allow full speed passes on 3s if you feed the power in gently. The rims are very tough and offer a generous lip to glue the tires - they stay glued much better than the factory dirt tires. They are harder and slide around more than the factory dboots on both dirt and asphalt, but are much less prone to traction rolls. Update: 4 runs in summer weather and these were destroyed. Poor initial balancing becomes much worse over time and the tires wear very unevenly - even when rotating after each run.

They need to be glued and mounted
Very well made they work well

Cheap Quality
Not very good quality. They don’t come pre-glued. And even when you do glue them they still blow off of the rim

Nice grip
Nice grip. But not too much where as to cause traction rolls.

Saw reviewers using words like 'gre@+' and 'p€rfe¢t' ..so i thought I'd give these a try. (Context: i have a Rlaarlo X12S 1:12 3S Basher Buggy that RIPS, and am trying a couple of on-road sets for skate park, tennis court, or road funzies). - Out of the box the rims look fantastic (and actually say O.Z), but tires are a surprisingly hard compound, and felt a bit heavy. Tread and lettering were real nice, and no molding issues. I think calling the width 28mm is generous, i got 27mm. After dismounting them, i had to trim the foam waaay more than i should of had to.. twice. It's like they used the wrong size foam, even the it's diameter was too big. I also had to sand the rim edges quite a bit more than expected, as there are burs at every perpendicular reinforcement point. Those same reinforcements make the wheels pretty stout though, so I'll take that trade-off. - PB treated and bagged tires overnight. They were a lot sticky-icky-er, but NOT noticably softer. - Overall the hard compound should mean longevity (we'll see), and again, the rims look sauce. - I feel ok telling myself 'the rims were $16 and the tires were $6. - At minimum, it's a nice show/shelf set for not bad money. If they perform and last, it's a win.. i might just update later. Cheers!
