I use these for my dogs in the evening, it seems like ANYTIME is a FUN TIME to set off fireworks in Phoenix, AZ. If it starts I give them a couple of these to ease thier anxieties Rude people dont think how upset these BOOMS and BAMs are for dogs...its is upsetting and police cant enforce anything. SO if you have a high anxiety dog, I recommend you keep these on hand

We have two dogs that have differing levels of anxiety--one hates thunder and fireworks, the other hates car rides. If we know a storm is coming, or before a holiday that we anticipate fireworks, we give them a few treats and they get very tired. It doesn't solve the problem entirely but it definitely seems to make it less problematic for them. Car rides are still a problem, I think the adrenaline just rips through the treats, but even so these work great and help them to chill out. We always keep a bag in the house just in case.

This product was recommended by a friend who does rescue. She was absolutely correct that this would help alter our adult dog’s behavior toward our new puppy.Previously the adult dog growled and snapped at the younger pup without provocation. This was happening whenever the pup simply went over by the older one, even though the puppy did not do anything to the other dog.After the first chewable, the adult dog was more relaxed and simply ignored the pup. We continued giving the chewable to the other dog for only a couple of days and peace has returned to our household.I would highly recommend.

These help a little to calm our lab. Not perfect but worth a try.
