This is a very well designed and constructed roof rack. All the parts fit well and tight. Everything is either aluminum, stainless steel or plastic. Instructions were detailed and complete, and everything is clearly marked front, back, left and right. I had no difficulty installing these very sturdy roof racks and it took me about an hour. They even give you extra hardware for fumble fingers like mine. I haul plywood, lattice, lumber and this is by far the most secure, strong and well made system I have ever seen, and it looks good! I studied roof racks quite a bit for my 2008 CRV, and glad I chose this one. I would turn right around and buy another set, except that I think they will long outlast the car.

Installed pretty easy. The lock mechanism is prone to falling out if turned the incorrect way, but how many times do you plan on taking these off? I put them on and tossed the key in the car to call it good. They appear very sturdy and look excellent on my car.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these. Heavy duty aluminum construction with precise fit and nice finish. It came with extra screws, gaskets, and pads as well as two Allen wrenches; one for initial setup and another to tighten it once installed and the space is limited. I was going to go with OEM crossbars, but thought I’d gamble. Amazon is pretty good about returns, so the only inconvenience would have been time. These are remarkably inexpensive for the quality at half the price of the OEM ones. Frankly; they are better quality and heavier duty than those made by Honda. The weight limit is 220 pounds, but it almost feels as if I could pick up the car just using these. HIGHLY recommended!

Challenging to install but fits perfectly. Surprised there is no added sound when traveling high or low speeds. Very satisfied with purchase!

The Good: Well made, good materials and manufacture. Price: fair for quality Installation: Impressive, quite easy and went without a hitch. What could be better? feel a little dodgy on the single bolt mounting can see why they call for front and back stabilization, on the CRV that is a real pain at the front...might have to create something to make that less true. Problem: I don't know which is worse, listening to the wind howling on the rack or listening to my wife complain about the howling on the rack. Problem, part "B" I can't remove the product without buying two new roof rails which I am pretty sure are going to cost me more than the rack for each one. What could be better: accessories that would allow you to connect to the supports would be a big help, think I am going to have to be doing a lot of home design for solutions.

I just finished putting them on my new CRV. I was really pleased with the quality of the crossbars. They seem really well made, with good materials and really strong. The Honda ones are painfully expensive. I agree with other reviewers that they took about an hour to install. Here are my tips for helping you do it in a little less time: 1.) lay some towels on the top of your car to protect it while installing, 2.) put a chair on each side of the car, 3.) Measure the distance between the side rails with a tape measure, so that when you are putting on the cross bar end caps you can get them close to the exact length needed. The end caps can be adjusted to be a bit longer or shorter as needed. I would leave them slightly loose when attaching them to the car. This will allow you to more easily install the screws that attach the caps to the cars side rails. And you can get a perfect fit. 4.) The final step is to fully tighten the screws that attach the caps to the cross bars, that will now be upside down on the underside of the rail caps. It can be a little awkward to insert the allen wrench into a socket hole you can't see, but just be patient, take your time and you can do it. And it will be worth it because you will have a perfect fit. 5.) Last, I wold take the stickers on the bottom of the rails off before attaching. They are quite visible in the mirror like finish of a new paint job. At least the were on my car. Thankfully I have a plastic razor blade scraper and was able to get it off as my last step. Again, it would be much easier to do before the bar is attached. Anyhow, so far, look great. I will write back if I notice any wind noise.

So far so good, a few months later. Easy to attach and fit perfectly on my 2021 Honda Cr-V and durable. Buy them.
