does this product prevent salt on travertine pool deck

Will this product dissipate effervescence (chalky appearance) from old brick?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. This product will not remove or clean any existing effervescence/ efflorescence from old brick but it will prevent this from forming in the future. You will first have to remove this from your brick surface and apply Ultimate Sealant only after it is clean and dry. Once your brick surface is treated with Ultimate Sealant, it will not allow the absorption of moisture or chalk residues, creating a stain-free surface.

Travertine pool deck ? Is it ok for that ?

It should perfectly work. Follow directions on the label for prep work.

Will this product, if applied to wood, harden that wood?
