My family tends to leave their chop sticks and drinking straws in the sink, but this sometimes leaves me wondering if any of them have fallen into the drain. Thanks to the DEPSTECH 50FT Sewer Inspection Camera, I was able to verify that nothing, yet, has fallen into the drain. This inspection camera is very useful around the house, for many different situations, and also for my car. I have used it to get the serial number off of my sump pump, which is installed in my sump pit. It would have been too difficult for me to have used another method for getting that serial number. I like that it has a 50 foot cable, making it a great tool to have in my arsenal for the day that I have to see what might be clogging my house drain. I have used it to inspect the drain on my washing machine, to see what has fallen behind the refrigerator, and to see what was behind a big stack of boxes and bags in my basement. I also plan to use it to inspect the space above my attic and between a couple of walls (with the power turned off), to see if a bee nest is being made. The DEPSTECH 50FT Sewer Inspection Camera seems to be well made and designed. I like that the opening for the USB (type A) port, for the inspection cable connector has a groove on it, so that you can’t put the connector in backwards. The USB cable port also has a reinforced opening that helps to protect the USB port from getting damaged when snaking the inspection cable. The screen is very bright and clear. A great feature of the device is that you can press a button to rotate the image. It comes with a couple tools that go on the end of the cable – a magnet and a hook. It's also great that it comes with a memory card which enables you to save pictures and video. One of the best features of this inspection camera is that it has 2 cameras – one on the front and the other on the side. Both cameras have a light that can be adjusted from the display controller. You can control which camera is turned on and which camera is showing on the display. Even better is that you can show both cameras at once, on the same screen, and the same time, in a split view. The instruction manual is easy to follow and the device is easy to use. This is a very handy device to have when you need it. – See pictures. The DEPSTECH 50FT Sewer Inspection Camera definitely gets 5 stars from me!

DS520 has been really useful and a great product. However cable stopped working after limited use but also after a year. Contacted Depstech customer service direct, who were helpful, responsive and positive. They asked for information to support warranty and to confirm fault. Could offer a full refund, a shorter cable (but not a 50ft cable) or a newer DS590 at no cost. The newer version turned up today. Brilliant customer service.

Nothing is worse than having a clogged drain or diagnosing something on a vehicle and not being able to see the problem. Depstech is a company that I am familiar with and really like their products. Unfortunately not all jobs are right at the source and the 50FT inspection camera lets you see those extremely hard to reach areas. The unit is basically two pieces, the snake camera and the screen. The snake camera is 50FT long, flexible and is completely waterproof. So no need to worry about getting it wet while in the drain. You will run into issues if the camera itself is submerged in the water, in which case it will be difficult to see. You have LED lights on the camera that you can dim or brighten. This seems like a standard feature, but I actually have an endoscope with no light which limits its use. It is useful that the snake has a dual lense camera, that lets you see from the side or the front. The screen is 5" in size and I think that’s a fairly decent size to see what you need to see. The device comes pre loaded with a 32GB memory card. This allows you to save pictures or videos of the problematic issue. The screen has minimalistic options that don’t really improve your users experience. It does have one useful option allowing to switch from two cameras or also giving you the ability to see split screen. You can also dim the screen and the light on the camera. You can adjust from 720p to 1080p video quality. I actually find the screen controls, are not very intuitive. You would think the back button would send you back in the menu, but it’s actually the button to rotate the camera at 180°degrees. Instead you either have to hit the OK button or the gear button to get you out of the menu. ✅WHAT I LIKE: ▪️Fully USB-C rechargeable. ▪️50FT worth of cable is more than adequate to get into those dark spaces. ▪️You get a handy carrying case that holds all your goodies. ▪️The dual camera is a nice touch and gives you multiple views. ▪️You also get a few attachments that hook onto the end of the camera, like a magnet, a hook and a cap protector. ❌WHAT I DON’T LIKE: ▪️It becomes difficult to manage the 50FT of cable when it’s fully unwound. ▪️Its also a pain rolling up the cable, so you can fit it back in the case. ▪️The USB that plugs into the screen can be difficult to insert or remove. ▪️Some sort of zoom feature whether it be manual or digital would be useful. 🦋OVERALL: This is a very good endoscope and has already assisted in removing some debris in a pipe. It’s not a tool, that will be used everyday, but when you need it you will be glad you had it. I would recommend Depstech 50FT endoscope without hesitation.

The DEPSTECH Industrial Endoscope arrived fantastically packaged. This is a phenomenal product! Words can't describe how much I love this device. It's now probably one of the most useful tools in my collection. The build quality of this device is fantastic! It has good ergonomics and is a pleasure to hold. I love the resolution of the screen, its crystal clear, and bright enough for viewing outside. The Camera quality was excellent, and it was a joy to view images on the screen in real time. It comes with a 32gb Micro SD card, so it's ready to go straight out of the box. There's no app required or special setup process you need to follow first. It just works! So, this device is first timer user friendly, and its menu system is easy to navigate and it's intuitive to use. They listed this device as a sewer inspection device, but this product has far more uses than this. I'm mainly going to use this product to check inside cavity walls, check engine components on cars such as the cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, etc. This device is one of the most useful products you can have in the automotive industry, or just for the regular home mechanic like me. I honestly don't know why I never thought of buying this product sooner. It's one of those devices where once you have one, it's hard to imagine yourself living without one. If I ever lose this product, or it fails on me, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one. It's well worth the asking price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
