The tips like to fall off, but they were cheap and do the job.

These watch hand presser tools are very useful tools. Pro Tip: Practice, practice, practice! Use the proper sized tips for the proper hand size opening (e.g., hour, minute, and second hands).

I've been assembling watches since COVID. I've used these presser tools to install hands successfully, and can say they're all you'll need once you understand how they work. Each presser has two tips. Each tip has a hole in it of varying sizes. The tip that fits over the largest pinion will install the hour hand. The tip that just fits over the seconds hand pinion will install the minute hand, and the shallow concave tip will install the seconds hand. (I find that putting a tiny blob of rubber cement on the seconds hand tips, and letting it dry, will enable you to both pick up the seconds hand on the presser tool and install it as well. Also, I recommend a loupe like the Bergeon No 2611-TN 5x. It'll allow you to see up-close what is going on and install the hands precisely.

When you're setting watch hands you need a set of these. There are hundreds of these sets available and you probably can't go wrong with any of them. This is a good basic set for a very reasonable price.
