RifleHMELOVE Scope 4-16x50 Rangefinder Illuminated Optics with 4 Reticle, Red Dot Sight

These are nice solid little scopes with a good clear view, easy enough to adjust windage & elevation with some form of small flat tool/implement etc, I found the angle of the middle sized allen key fits in the slots nicely for this, but would've been nice to be finger adjusters, even just cheap knurled plastic rings. The mount is a good secure fit and once finger tight can be tightened a fraction more with the edge of the long section of the same middle sized allen key you can use for turret adjustments. Illumination is good but the brighter settings hid the reticle a little too much, making it thicker, however the middle setting was fine for brighter environments & the lowest was bob on for darker ones & targets. Eye focus with eye-bell ring I found was clear & sharp at approx 20 > 25 yards, at 35 yards the image is still clear enough to hit 5 pence sized bulls eyes but you'll only know you've hit if using splatter targets or you use another scope or binno's to check POI, the magnification of this scope just isn't up to such distances, I'd say 20 to possibly 25 yards is the max, for my eye's at least. With the focus set for the above & zeroed in at 35 yard I was able to hit the bull from 10 out to 45 yards with only the tiniest amount of hold over for 45 yard, but center of the crosshairs for all others, that was until a few shots later I needed to re-zero (see below). As for the open sights, the optic strip up front is very bright so a great asset, unfortunately that front sight cannot be removed unless you got out the hack saw, It's also quite thick which means it hides too much, or all of the target to be useful for use on small or distant targets, but of course it's not designed for accuracy so will be fine for the purposes it's intended for. If the optic strip was removed it could allow for smaller target acquisition I suppose, but I never bothered with it. The rear iron has plenty of great adjustment however & can be removed if desired. Sadly I had to return this as it wouldn't hold zero, I constantly found POI shifting every 5 to 10 shots or so and as such needed to keep re-zeroing. I don't believe it's an issue with many of these scopes as I've only read 1 review with such problems noted, although too many people are too lazy to write reviews in order to help others, so there could be more with similar issues.

Looks great, works good. Could maybe have a better fit / bigger rail grips.
