These ears saved my life. I was inside a 737 when a bird-strike assaulted several engines and tore open the fuselage. Dumb me- I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and I was sucked out into the wild blue yonder. I had been wearing these ears when this happened so I started flapping like crazy and, thankfully, I had a soft landing.

I just received them and was excited to try them on. First, the wire part wouldn't hold on my head—and believe me, my head isn't that huge—or the ears themselves would fall off. They were very poorly designed.

The fact that the ears slip of easily made these a little hard to manage, but they worked great overall and a little glue fixed it
