GAME CHANGER FOR CUP USER
I've used a cup for years. The disks were not as popular at that time. I like the cups however I had a very hard time urinating. It was like the cup kept my muscles from pushing my bladder. So I would just have to let it trickle out, then wait for it to go lower on the bladder and trickle out more. Repeat this several times. So it would take FOREVER. I've tried so many different cups abd they were all the same. Plus every now and then the seal wouldn't be right so I would leak. The Femmycycle cup was the one I loved the most except they stopped making it so when it was time to replace it.... couldn't find it OF COURSE. So I thought I'd try a disk. OMG so much easier than a cup. No leak first time using it. I have no problem going to three bathroom. It doesn't move if I bear down either. I wish I would have done this sooner. I loved this came with both sizes too, especially for the money. Apparently the more expensive doesn't really matter because these do the job. I also like that it has a "string" to remove it from vs having to reach up there to pull out out. I wear gloves but still. It's just better nicer. Another bonus is removal is much easier because you have to worry about breaking the seal and getting it out pinched or it hurts. Not these. These are not THAT stiff so they are much more comfortable to remove. So if any cup users are in the fence I'd definitely try it. Especially for this price. They also have inverters now but you shouldn't need one with these. You just put it in, pop behind your pelvic bone and your in your way. SO SIMPLE!

Love this little guy!
After buying and giving a few different brands, sizes, Firmness, ones with and without tails for easy removal, and shapes of menstrual discs. I know that I prefer to use the smaller sizes. This one has proven to have my back and has been faithful to me 100% from day one. Now if you're just starting to using discs don't get discouraged if he isn't as faithful to you from the jump. It's probably not this disc it's probably just the learning curve everyone experiences when switching to alternative period products. I swear though if you keep at it and get used to getting it behind your pubic bone you'll be in love. This guy may not be the one you'll prefer but I def think it's a great place to start if anything. I started with disposable ones and really felt just as guilty as if I were using the typically tampons and pads. So that's when I went on the hunt for a reusable option. I will never go back. So depending on how high or low your cervix sits with determine what disc will suit you best. I imagine It will be a trial and error type thing for most ladies. Though I'm sure there will be many just starting that find this guy is going to be their boo thang as well. I enjoy the rim on this disc as it's not super soft but not super firm either. The tail is for easy removal and I totally appreciate it. This tail is customizable . I cut mine to only be about an inch long. Though a tail or tab isn't necessary at all. Makes for a cleaner removal though. The price for this little guy is fabulous considering it's so great.Y'all just do it... Give it a go. I know you'll be happy you did. Oh and did I mention mess free sex while on the rag. He won't even know unless you tell him. Where were these disc the first 20 years of my cycle?? Thankful to have found out about these for so many reasons.

Good alternative to tampons. Read for advice on removal
I was using the flex disc before. So this will be a comparison.I have normal to light periods that usually have about only one day of "heavy" flow.Pros:-I like the color and the bag that comes with it.-Good for the environment and no risk for Toxic Schock Syndrome.-It includes a pull tab for easier removal (more about that later)-Easy to clean.-Good price-No leaks for me after I wore it for like 10 hours.Cons:-It feels a little "thick" compared to Flex Disc, but as long as you got it inserted properly, then you wont feel it.-You can kinda feel the pull tab. I didnt have sex with this one (the flex disc i did) because i felt he would be able to feel it. Also, honestly I didnt really want it. I cut it shorter assuming I could just use my finger, but it doesnt have a little dip on the rim where you can scoop it out like the flex disk kind of does. So I struggled to get it out. The tab will stretch and slip out of your fingers so I had to use toilet paper when gripping it as to not slip. Ended up being messier than i would like. Alos, instead of just inserting it, you have to actually position and center the tab in the front middle which can be a little annoying if it is off center once inserted.-It didnt hold as much as I would like for as long, but It does the job.I am overall satisfied, but I will be going back to the flex disc.***NOTE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE STRUGGLED TO REMOVE DISCS"I went through this when i first started using the flex disc and OMG i was terrified I would never be able to get it out. What you need to remember is dont leave it in for TOO long because once its full and youre trying to remove it, it leaks out and makes everything slippery to pull out. What you do is lean a little foreward get in there, BREATHE, and act like you are trying to push a baby out (or like going number 2 on a difficult day lol). Contract and push, and you will feel it being slightly pushed out. Using your middle finger with a scooped hand to reach underneath the rim and pull it out. Push like your life depended on it and youll get it out.

Research and try it out
After using a cup for almost a decade and after getting an IUD, I opted to use a disc. It is a learning curve from the cup. The auto emptying can suck sometimes; I coughed and sneezed and it leaked. I felt it most of the time. It felt easy to remove with the string. I had to retuck it every trip to the bathroom. I'm willing to keep trying. I've joined groups and have been reading as much as I can.
