The essential clove oil is amazing. My husband had a toothache and he put a little bit of that on cotton ball and it stopped it so if you’re looking for something that will get rid of a toothache or gums hurting try this stuff. You definitely have to dilute it because it’s so strong.

Had a tooth pulled and ended up with a dry socket. My dentist would put strip of cloth soaked in clove oil into the hole. This is much cheaper than my dentist and it work just about as good however I did need to apply it alittle .ore often

So:- Pros: Ultra-potent, multi-functional (mouthwash, oral care, antifungal hair treatment), and great value in a larger bottle. Cons: Not for the faint of heart - expect some serious burn if used undiluted or in excess.

This worked for me , I had toothache. I'd used actual cloves before - awkward. After having no joy at the herbalist and going to have to wait a long time to see a dentist , I thought I'll see if I can get clove oil from Amazon. I wasn't let down , thankfully. The effect of the clove oil is quick , within 15 minutes and it can be reapplied every 2 - 3 hours. It needs a carrier oil e.g. coconut , olive oil or jojoba , then a cotton bud or ball to apply it to the affected area . Not pleasant to taste but it does the trick.
