Th Bosch Cool 2000 Portable AC is brilliant!HERE'S WHY YOU SHOULDN'T GO FOR A CHEAP BRAND:I had previously bought a cheap one for sub £200. That was a waste of time as it sounded like a pneumatic drill and didn't give out anywhere near enough cold air for it - it struggled to cool the room down.HERE'S WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE A BOSCH:To cut through the confusing world of all the options out there, I just decided I would go for a reliable brand and spend considerably more money - Bosch was my choice and it has 100% been worth it. I only needed the smallest one as the room I want to cool down is quite small.It looks slick, it pumps out cold air in abundance. As air conditioners go it's quite quiet - I mean, obviously it does make some noise, but it's soothing white noise (a bit like the sound when you're on an aeroplane).If you want a reliably excellent portable air con unit and have the budget, my advice is look no further

Disappointingly poor. It barely made any difference to the room temperature. Although set on maximum blow at the minimum possible temperature setting of 19 deg C, all it could manage, after a whole hour of being on in a small 3m x 2.5m room, was a pathetic drop from 24.5 deg C to 22.5 deg C. As good as useless when used in the middle of a summer heatwave. Expected better from a Bosch product being sold at a premium price. Was returned for a refund.

Overral a good buy. Well packed, good quality and easy to poerate.Worked out of bax, cooled the room very quickly. Given the use of Airconditions before abroad this is quiet and easy to operate.

Unfortunately ours arrived with a loose piece rattling around inside that made the machine noisy. We contacted the manufacturer with a video of the noise and they immediately asked us to arrange a return. Amazon’s customer service support was faultless as always. We ended up buying a competitors mobile air con unit as the Bosch 4000 and 5000 were both out of stock. We paid £300 more for a different air-con unit (not a Bosch) and if only Bosch had some stock available, we would only have bought a replacement Bosch. Sturdy, well built and a joy to have in the hot weather. As soon as another unit is available, we would have no hesitation to buy another Bosch appliance.

The remote control has got a problem in that it sometimes doesn’t want to work.

This item was exactly how described a very good product .

I worried how bad of review before purchasing it. But also saw and concern about good reviews for low noise and energy efficiency. Finally I could say good things is it. No need worry. It is great product on the kind of the portable AC. PRO is Low noise (compared with another brands and PORTABLE AC products / fast cool / energy efficient ( base on my consumption meter recorded. CON is not cheap. But worth it!

The media could not be loaded. The air conditioner I returned had a serious noise problem and a cracked casing. I suspected it was a second-hand product. I bought it for 599, but it turned out that I could only get a refund of 499.
