These replacement pads provide excellent sound reproduction, noise cancelation and comfort
The ear pads on my Sony WH-1000XM3 needed replacing. I would usually opt for a genuine replacement, but getting the spares ear pads is difficult. I wear my headphones all the time. Every single day, for hours on end, on average, 8 hours! I use them to isolate and cancel noise, even when no music is playing. They are my most valuable personal asset. I love them! Thus, the need to replace the pads with equal or better performance was significant. I ummed and arred about buying these replacement pads. For several reasons, including comfort, isolation, and of course, sound. I looked at some competitors and opted for the SOULWIT brand. I am so pleased. In fact, ‘pleased’ is an understatement. The replacement of the old pads is straight forward. Using the provided tool, you prise the edge to lift the plastic connectors to disconnect each pad. Then, you apply the new pads and you’re done! I was nervous about snapping the connectors, but I achieved a clean replacement. Be patient, apply force, but not too much and you’ll be good. There was one downside I must report. When you remove the pad, you will see a small piece of material protecting the driver on both channels. Because of excessive use, this material was dirty and torn. But, the manufacturer does not provide this as a replacement piece — they should. Even if it adds a couple of pounds to the price. It’s an important part that could be replaced at the same time as the ear cups. Instead, I had to wash the material in soapy water, and even fix a part with some glue because the material had torn. Thankfully, all is well. Besides that, once you try the new pads, you will immediately notice how full they feel. BUT.. this memory foam, in time, flattens. That’s a good thing, as they become closer to the original ear pads. As the ear pads flatten, this results in comfort and excellent noise cancellation. But, worth noting is the size of the ear holes. The replacement pads are smaller than Sony’s, which is a shame. As a result, they might not be suitable for people with big ears. But I have small ears, so they fit well. I write this review after 8 months of use at about 8 hours a day. That equates to umm, a lot of hours! As I look at them while I write this review, I must admit, the quality is extraordinary. The memory foam has flattened, but there’s no wearing of the material. They look as good as new. I am so very pleased with this purchase. It was one of the most sensible buying decision of the year. And, if you’re in the market to extend the life of your Sony WH-1000XM3, you might want to consider these beauties.

Perfect replacements.
Look and feel great. Old ones click off with minimal leverage (tool provided) and these replacements click straight on. Old originals had lost foam density and were starting to flake. Now they're like new with improved noise cancelling.

Obviously....
...not as good as the originals but a decent enough replacement.

As good as original Sony pads!
I bought a used set of Sony wh-1000xm3 headphones, absolutely mint condition, but thought I would get new ear pads for them as they felt a bit too soft and not as much of the "memory" left in the foam, albeit, still very usable. I decided to go with these ones as there's fairly good reviews and no major complaints about bad quality etc. My slight concerns were A. Would I break my headphones when trying to fit the pads , and B. Is sound quality and noise cancelling be compromised with these? First, the replacement is really easy. They provide instructions and a wee spatula to lever the plastic rim with the pad on it, out of its plastic fixings. Takes about 5min for first one and about 2min for other when you get a feel for it. Meant to say that they are pretty much identical to Sony's pads in quality, only a bit thicker with a slightly smaller interior where your ears will be. That made me a bit apprehensive as far as comfort and sound was concerned. So, I replaced one and put some music on to hear and feel the difference. Yes, there definitely seems to be a difference in that the new pad attenuates the highs but delivers a solid bass, but I was kind of expecting that anyway. The noise cancellation was slightly better with the new pad! After fitting the other one I reset the pressure for noise cancellation and didn't even change the EQ settings because I actually really like the sound I'm getting. It's impossible to know at this point how comfortable these will be for long periods but after half hour they feel fine. My ears still fit into the cups, just a bit more snug now. Overall, at this point I definitely recommend these if you need new pads. Quality is comparable to originals and, of course they change the sound but nothing that a small tweak with EQ can't fix if you don't like it. Good quality at a good price!

Easy to replace, mixed feelings on sound quality
Not yet sure on these. Firstly, very easy to remove the originals with the supplied tool. Instructions suggest a butter knife could otherwise be used, but the tool has a small 'nib' at the end which I think it could be difficult without. No breakage of the original so I could put them back if needed. Also fairly easy to click the new ones into place but the instructions tell you to "Please get a better understanding of how to apply the ear pad to the headphones" - and they really mean it as the alignment has to be spot on! I did find I needed to push harder than expected, probably just because of the foam. In terms of sound quality I'm not sure yet. The passive noise cancelling seems to be greater (it feels slightly more like wearing ear defenders than before), and I suspect the active noise cancellation is improved. But the sound seems slightly muffled compared with before, as if the foam in the centre of the pad is thicker than the original. What I can't tell is if this is how they sounded new and I got used to the change over time, and whether I'll just get used to it now. Fiddling with the EQ helped a bit. Given the ease with which these can be replaced, I give Sony 0 stars for not actually making official replacements easily available. Clearly they could if they wanted to. But apparently they'd prefer us all to buy cheap replacements that potentially reduce the sound quality of their devices.

Excelente qualidade e não afetou o cancelamento de ruído do fone. Parece com a original e não destoa o aspecto do fone. Confortável.

These are some replacement pads for Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. The stock earpads are pleather, and were starting to crack from years of heavy use. I like the feel of fabric earpads (or liners), so decided to give these a try. Installation was easy with the snap-on rear clips, and only took a few minutes. Once on, they stay in place and don't fall off, like some replacement earpads that use adhesive. The material is a soft black microfiber, and it feels like memory foam inside. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to switch out their 1000xm3 earpads for fabric ones.

These replacement ear bud covers for the Sony are better than the OEM plastic covers. I wear them daily for more than 3 hours and they are comfortable and easy to install in about 5 minutes for both sides.
