The Best for the Price
I bought these as I bake artisan bread at 500 F and needed to be able to handle the cast iron pans. These work the best of any that I have found so far. I can't hold onto an item for very long and the heat goes right through the seams, so if I need to grab a knob, like on the lid of a dutch oven, I still need to use a cloth plus the gloves. I have average size hands and they fit fine for what I need them. These aren't the type of gloves that one would use for fine detail work, so fit is not really important for me as long as my hands go in them.

Too thick to grip a rod
It’s difficult to maneuver your fingers because they’re so heavily insulated (padded). The gloves are a good so now I’m using them for other heat related work, but not stick welding.I gave them a chance to loosen up, but they’re staying finger tip stiff. Great for bbq pit use!

Too stiff to use. Can't move hand.
Gloves are too stiff. They have that feeling of leather that has been used welding for too long and get too stiff to move. Can barely grip with them. Can not manipulate the rod well at all with these on. Will not buy them again. Should have read the reviews first.

Heat resistant
I use these gloves for light forge work. They are thick, as others have stated. It's a bit difficult to operate a bic lighter to start a torch. They've been perfectly heat resistant.

Comfy hand and past wrist protection
Arrived late but besides that these provide excellent hand and wrist protection while also comfortable. I use them seldom, however, their nice to have on hand to not get poked or burned.

Did not like
I mig weld for work and these are too thick to weld with. It makes it hard to keep the trigger pressed which ends the arc. They are good quality and feel nice but are just overkill on the thickness of material. Ill stick to my lincoln gloves they are cheap and protect well

Can’t beat the price! They are light weight!
Price is great and they are pretty comfortable gloves! I melt metal in a propane furnace and use these gloves to feed the furnace with scrap and they work great.

Smaw approved
Fits well. Very thick padding and comfortable. I would suggest for smaw/stick welding but not so much for gmaw/mig/mag. Even if a spark burned thru the top layer it wouldnt get to the skin. Best smaw gloves for the price.
