Depends on the breed as some live much Longer and any medical conditions. Vet told me my healthy lurcher/collie was senior aged 8yrs. Hope that helps?

How long would a bag last for a lab x pointer?

Depends how much you feed, around 350g per day, the sack could last over a month maybe longer. A bag lasted me over 2 months feeding 2 terriers on 250g between them.
