Henckels Champagne 45 Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set

Looks beautiful, but feels lighter than I expected.

I gave this to my mom as a Christmas gift, and she keeps texting me about how much she loves the style and quality. The set is solid, heavy and stacks nicely in her flatware drawer. I’m happy that it made such a terrific gift.

Not happy. This is my second set of Henckles flatware. Loved my first set and have had it for years. Only bought another set bc I wanted a change. I didn’t pay as much for this set as I did for my first, but I thought, it’s Henckles, it’s got to be good. Not so much. It looks cheap. It feels cheap. I washed by hand and left to air dry and they water spotted horribly. Had to wash and towel dry all over again. I used several more pieces and then washed them in the dishwasher, a brand new dishwasher, and they didn’t even come clean. So, today I returned them. I am very disappointed in Henckles. I thought they were a quality brand since they are German made. I have a set of their knives I’ve had for years and love them. I’ve gone back to my old set of flatware. Maybe over the years Henkles has had to cut corners on their manufacturing or their supplies, I don’t know. All I know is that this particular set of Henckels flatware is so inferior to my old set. Very disappointed. I don’t think I’ll buy their flatware anymore because I don’t trust their quality anymore. Spend your money on another brand, because this set sucks.

This silverware looks great and the extra pieces are a real bonus. They are very light weight if that matters to you. So far so good with dishwasher and daily use
