A nice addition
I used these latches for a couple of wedding gift boxes I made for a cousin. They gave it a nice addition versus a regular latch. The bride wanted something different and I found it in these latches. Perfect size, sturdy, pretty color and easy to install

Cute solution to my problem!
We have a coffee table in our house that is basically a big box with a split top that slides apart so you can put stuff in it, and a little boy that recently learned how to stand holding onto furniture. Obviously, the sliding top on the table became a safety concern and I needed some way to secure it without making it look ugly or prohibiting me from accessing the inside. I put one of these on each side, so you have to unlock both before you can open the box, and it worked perfectly! My little guy doesn’t have the coordination to unlatch them, so he can stand safely at the edge of the table... and they look so ornate that if you didn’t know any better you’d think the table came like that!

Very small screws, difficult to use
Nice latch, but screws difficult to use due to very small size, almost need a tiny screwdriver (Phillips) as you use for glasses. However, does give the box for which I used it a classy look

Perfect
My son has a dragon wooden box to hold his dragon cards. It needed a lock and this clasp worked perfect and looks like it was made for it!
