These cards are a work of art, plain and simple. Even for a non fan, the sheer amount of intricacy would probably be worth the purchase, but for a fan of the LOTR series, this deck is absolutely incredible! The attention to detail is stunning - when I first opened these, I probably spent 15 minutes or more just staring at the cards and finding all of the references. Theory 11 really packs a punch in their designs; they do fantastic work, and this deck is no exception. I also love the fact that these are manufactured by U.S. Playing Card Co. (the maker of Bicycle cards), so not only is the design great, but the quality is also top-notch as well. Nothing spoils a good-looking deck like poor quality cards, but that is definitely not the case here. If you are a fan of LOTR or just enjoy custom artwork on playing cards, these are definitely worth having - highly recommended!
