Do they react with the valve and stick as I have had a problem with similar logo caps on another car “welding” themselves to the valve

I've just had to use a socket set to get mine off as they did undergo some oxidation and welded themselves to the thread. No way could I have got these off by hand and even the drill (with the socket attachment) struggled. I've thrown these away and replaced with plastic, regular ones and I'd never use these metal ones again tbh.

Do i need to purchase 4 or do they come as a set?

Well I guess it all depends on what yer vehicle is,car or bike, you might well be able to purchase just 2 at a motor cycle dealers, cos you don't need 4 if you gotta bike do ya, but hey, if you purchase 4 you got 2 spares then. If you gotta car you're in luck, they come as a set, I've never seen valve caps sold separately.
