Summit SUM-843 Roof Box, 530 Litre Capacity in Metallic Grey

Great product! Relatively light and easy to attach to roof bars. Great size and can fit a lot of stuff in it.

Not bad, does the job and good value compared to some better known brands. The plastic is the usual bendy variety but I'm pretty certain there's not much difference between brands in that respect. Possibly the hinges are the only downside - as they are plastic and a bit of beggar to snap together when you first get it out box - though they seem strong enough in use. Likely to scratch easily as all these shiny ones will I would think so I'm keeping mine in the original cardboard box when not in use. NB will just about fit on the Skoda Roomster - rails are a bit short so front end sticks forward of them a bit and wobbles a bit at speed but secure enough if you use decent bars and that is normal for this size of box.

Good roof box big in size used a couple of times a little difficult to take off. Need two people maybe due to my car being high. Well worth the money. Big on size means big to store but great for those camping holidays this will get some use.

Great big box. Due to the height of my car (2016 Ford galaxy) I had to fit the rails to the box then lift the hole lot over the car and fit the rails. The box is spacious and took loads of stuff. It was surprisingly quiet on the motorway (very little wind noise compared to jist the bars themselves) again due to the height of my car I found I was climbing up to reach stuff or even see what was in it, but on a regular family car this wouldn't be an issue. I will be using this box alot.

Been looking for a large roof box for a little while now, but didn't want to spend a lot of money, this popped at £120 delivered, i was a bit dubious as that's a lot lower than I've seen this size Roof Box at, but i took the gamble and ordered. Good gamble the box appears to be of good quality, no lesser than some priced a lot higher, its easy enough to fit together and to pop on the roof, overall I'm very happy with the box, hopefully it lasts a while

One of the "U" shaped srews is missing, so we are unable to fix the box to the bars.

Arrived ahead of schedule which was great, however upon opening there were several scratches on the top of the box. Unfortunately I do not have time to return item and having looked into the cost of returning I've decided to just keep this box and get the T-Cut out.As for the product itself it seems very well built and was very quick and easy to put together. The locking mechanisms are far better than other boxes I'd looked at and the sprung hinges seem to work well. Can't comment on its durability or wind/rain resistance yet but can't foresee any problems. Would be 5 stars if not for the minor scratches.

Easy to assemble. Absolutely huge. Great price.
