Q: How long is this good for / how long does it keep?

I usually use this product fairly quickly at this season, and it id more effective than powder. I have never kept it for more than 2-3 months. Powder however will keep for years, I always keep some powder around. My advice would be that if you want to keep it longer than one season, use powder. I can't say that I know that gel won't keep, but chemically, it would stand to reason that it could dry out or break up fairly quickly, given the necessity for it to remain viscus, and adhesive. Q: Is there an expiration date on the jar or not?

There is a QA code on the bottle that should read something like 22/123/L4 the first 2 numbers are the year the product was packed.

Rooting gel

I bought this for my partner who is just in to gardening and wished to experiment with cutting and planting. She had never heard of rooting gel so was very pleased with the final results, not all the cuttings grew but far more than she expected. I would buy again !
