wow
Listening to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" on vinyl is an extraordinary auditory experience. The sound quality is absolutely fantastic, capturing the intricate details and sonic brilliance of each track. From the opening heartbeat of "Speak to Me" to the soulful saxophone in "Us and Them," the clarity and depth of the music are unmatched. The analog warmth of the vinyl truly brings the album to life, making every note resonate with emotion. The album cover and artwork are simply amazing. The iconic prism design, created by Hipgnosis and George Hardie, is as striking today as it was when first released in 1973. The minimalist yet powerful imagery perfectly encapsulates the album's themes and is instantly recognizable. Holding the LP in your hands, you can appreciate the fine details and thoughtfulness that went into its design.Overall, "Dark Side of the Moon" on vinyl is a must-have for any music lover. It’s a timeless masterpiece that not only sounds incredible but also boasts some of the most memorable and stunning artwork in music history. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, this LP offers an unparalleled listening experience that stands the test of time.

Greatest album ever just got the tiniest bit better again. But is it worth it?
Justifiable? Madness? I already possess the 30th-anniversary SHLV 804 pressing, the 1993 20th-anniversary CD, and numerous other format versions. So while I'm sick to see yet another release of what was a brilliantly recorded album originally, for me, it came down to this. Vinyl is the ONLY way to listen to Dark Side of the Moon. So, would I be happy sticking with the second-best recording of my favourite album ever, or get this?I coughed up and took the plunge. What did I find?Unlike the remix of Animals, this retains the same dynamics, I found I still listened to the same moments in the same way, but the clarity is the thing. It's like everything's been picked up, polished, and set back gleaming. Plus - and for audiophiles, this is something of a miracle - they've solved the distortion issue around 6 minutes into Us and Them which always drove me crazy. So the listening experience, like the album, has never been more harmonious or astonishing. But only... very slightly. Is it worth it, then? For anyone who already owns Dark Side on vinyl, all you're really paying for is that incremental improvement. To answer this, I will quote a certain tall motor journalist (you know who I mean) when reviewing the then-new Aston Martin DBS. He said to his mystified colleagues that it was like a DB9 where every little piece is a little bit better. He went on to conclude that you could never again choose to buy a DB9. In that instance, the price difference was £50k. Here it's less eye-watering, but the point remains. It's a lot of money for little gain. You'd have to be mad.But then I've always been mad, I know I've been mad...

Great record
Record is great and works perfectly, sound is pretty much identical to a digital version. Only small issue was that the sleeve was sealed too tight and it bulges slightly, but it is only a minor issue and didn't affect the record, which is all that matters.

Still the best
Absolutely worth buying. Drag out your old hi fi equipment, set it up perfectly and loose yourself in the sheer depth of this recording. Yes of course the huge moments (the guitar solo on Time is awesome, so many layers), but it’s the quiet moments like the intro to The Great Gig in the Sky and Us And Them is where you notice the quality of this CD. Even at low volume it sounds delightful. You may be surprised it doesn’t come in a crystal case, but when you realise it’s almost like your old beaten up original’70s vinyl sleeve, only in pristine condition, you’ll soon be happy with the money you’ve spent!

Remixed DSOTM
I was looking forward to this remix but I find it a bit lacking, the top end seems to be lacking in detail. A lot of the original distortion seems to have gone but the whole thing seems lifetime now, no emotion. Recently I bought the live version of DSOTM, now that is a fantastic recording, so much going on that I never realised before, a lot better than this remix, in my opinion.

Fantastic !
Lovely remaster of this classic album "Dark side Of The Moon" , takes me back a bit to times when life was so much simpler than today. Sounds lovely and crisp through out this great journey of time ,space and mental health issues . The two tracks which are really relevant in this time that we live in are "Money" & "Us & Them." The have and have not's ,those that are trying to make ends meet , with food bank's and cost of living hand out's to keep your your head above water. Then the rich & famous who spend money without having to worry about putting food on the table or paying for the gas & electric. Great stuff makes you think after 50 years still.
