Nice bag for the price. Like the handles being on the top as well as the side. The padding is about twice maybe three times as thick as what a typical cardboard box is, It's enough to make sure typical bumps don't reach the guitar finish. You can tell that it's definitely water resistant, but I sprayed Scotchguard on mine, just to be safe.The top pocket is a tad deep and with the small zippered opening, putting picks into would be difficult to retrieve unless you turned the bag upside down and shook it. Extra strings would be my choice. But the bottom pocket is the kicker for anything. You could actually throw 4-5 effects pedals and cords in it.My IYV IJZ 300a fits in it a bit snug just on the sides, but does fit, top to bottom and depth with a little play. This works great for a fender Stratocaster. My son needed a way to transport the guitar safely too and from school and this did the trick. Being able to wear it like a backpack was so convenient.

The case was worth it’s money. Straps were great. I would prefer a hard case. But it looked great. It’s lasting. I have a teenager son and it’s kept his guitar safe.

My last bag ripped after years of usage. But this feels like an upgrade. The light weight and back-pack straps helps with traveling than the old shoulder straps. The pocket is a single BIG pocket, but I put smaller organizers and other small cases in it. Any protection for my instrument without lugging around an armored case is welcomed.

for the money it cost it"s a great deal well made pretty thick padding, storage pockets with good zippers. I would recommend it..
