I had drunk jasmine tea years ago but could not remember who the supplier was when deciding to buy some again, as I sought a change from my normal black tea but was not seeking a herbal or fruit tea. I already had Darjeeling loose tea from Ahmad, so it seemed sensible to try their loose Jasmine Tea. I haven't been disappointed. I prefer it to drink it fairly weak (and sometimes with a slice of lemon added if I have lemons at the time) and the tea has a good colour and nice taste.

I have like green and flavoured green teas for a long time and have grown to prefer loose leaf tea over tea bags. Yes, it does take a little while longer to prepare a brew but I feel the results are worth the effort. This tea is nicely packaged in a metal caddy with the tea arriving sealed in a container inside. On opening, there was a subtle fragrance and the leaves looked and felt dry and fresh. This tea needs a good 4 minutes to brew and allow full flavour to develop. One teaspoonful is sufficient for a large cup/small mug for one person. I did test with 1.5 and 2 spoonfuls but the brewed flavour was not really much different so I'm sticking with 1 teaspoonful. After brewing, the leaves could be seen to have expanded to more than double their size. Taste - this was a nice, light tea with a refreshing taste and no dry aftertaste. It is definitely one of the better teas I have tasted over the years and is far superior to green/flavoured green tea bags. This is a tea that is perfect for any occasion. I would certainly buy this tea again in the future when I am looking for a light-tasting beverage in a small quantity. However, and the biggest disappointment for me, is that the jasmine flavour was far too mild for my taste. It is certainly there, even in the perfume, but I would prefer a jasmine tea that really tastes heavily of jasmine. I have given this product a 4 star rating only because of the mild jasmine taste. As a green tea, it is worthy of 5 stars and I can certainly recommend it for people who enjoy a light-tasting beverage.

My favorite tea ever. You can see whole jasmine flowers, unlike other brands, where there is crushed Flowers. Smell and taste absolutely amazing. Sealed bag inside keeps tea fresh, but you need to move it to air tight container after opening. If you want more caffeine, make tea stronger

I admit it, I love Ahmad teas. I have yet to find one of theirs I don't love. In particular this green tea is really nice. And somehow, through what I can only assume is Ahmad magic, it does not develop a overwhelming tannin flavor if over-brewed. This is true for all their teas I've found (black and green). Don't let the light color of the tea fool you, it has a nice flavor and the beautiful, fragrant scent of jasmine. I usually get their bagged tea, I mis-read the description and thought this bagged as well. So my first experience with their loose leaf is wonderful. I have other loose leaf jasmine teas (I was being lazy and buying bagged) but now I'm not sure I can go back to the other brands. The hilarious part is you can buy decorative tins of their black teas at home goods stores pretty inexpensive and it seriously some of the best tea I've ever had. My friend gets me one every year and now I spend my cold weather months drinking Ahmad tea. Every new style I try is great, and they don't need gimmicky names, or flavors to impress. It's simply great quality that starts as soon as you open the box and smell the aromatics. So aside from being amazing and delicious it's extremely affordable and the tins can be reused and keep the tea fresh.

I really like this brand. I wasn't paying attention when I ordered, I'm not a big black tea person, I prefer green tea and thought that's what I'd selected. But this jasmine black tea is great. I don't know if I'll order it again but I will be ordering other teas from this brand. They also have a great herbal tea, Beauty Tea or something, I really like.

If you are a tea drinker, this is simply the best. I was buying Ceylon and English Breakfast as well as the Special Blend at the local market. I wanted to try others as the ones mentioned are excellent. I ordered Jasmine as well as Paradise. Neither disappointed! They are excellent. From the time you open the bag to the first sip, you will not regret your purchase! They smell and taste so good. Ones to savor. Plus the packaging is beautiful as well!!! Thanks Ahmad Tea!!!

It's marked as green tea on the can and advertised as black tea. The leaves are green and the tea tastes like a nice green tea with a perfect Jasmine aroma. The leaves are more chopped up like a black tea and that is the only similarity I can see to a black tea. 💯✔Recommend👍😁
