The glass is actually really big but also light weight. It uses three aaa batteries and light up well. It comes with another small glass so is a plus. The only problem i encounter is the switching ejection button you have to dig in to push out.. but not a big deal.

Does what it is made for - magnifies anything without distorting it to bits and the light is very bright and works well if you need it.

The magnifiyng glass is very strong and great with the lights around it
