These bags are great! I don't know how I got along without them. I've even been able to put one of those Walmart roasting chickens in the big one and put it in the freezer.

These bags are the right size for almost everything you want to put in the refrigerator or even your luggage or gym bag. Two things are even better! 1. The extra valve closures. Please make a package that has 10 or 20 of those only. The bags are still useful when the valve closure doesn't work, you can suck or roll the air out of them, but the valve is special. 2. The little closing tool! How perfect when you don't understand why it's not taking the air out it's because you haven't closed it correctly. This takes care of that! And, you sent me 2, too. Easy to use, easy to wash cleanly. Keeps food forever. Thank you! 👩🏼‍🍳

Nice but hard to get open

These worked great for the first two times. I've now had to throw away $30 worth of salad stuff. They haven't even been microwaved or frozen or anything. They've literally only been used for salad and the salad dried off before.It's put in there. And without wet vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers, just the lettuce and carrots that are shaved and the shaved cabbage. The first two times it kept my salad fresh for over a week.And a half. I just went and bought 2 small bags of salad i separated it into individual salads, which takes up six of these bags 2 days ago. This happened the last time too, all but to the bags came unsealed, and the sound had to be thrown away. And to top it off, they did not come with the extra valves.So I can fix put new valves on there. So now i'm out thirty dollars in salad stuff about the price of these bags.And I have to figure out if I can buy valves by theirselves. I KNOW I'M USING THE BAGS CORRECTLY i even used the little tool to go over the ziploc twice. And like I said, the first few times I used them, they work just fine. IM BEYOND IRRITATED! I ALSO BOUGHT THE BIGGER SIZE BAGS THEY ARE DOING THE SAME THING! the thing is in both sizes.It's not all the bags doing it only like half of them smdh

I recently got a hand held vacuum sealer unit. It works great, but it only came with 2 bags. The vendor didn't list any possible bags that would work, so I shopped around, did a little research and these seemed to be the right choice. They are VERY inexpensive and are just as easy to use as the 2 bags that came with the unit. I like to make low carb meatballs and freeze them into individual serving bags. I usually use ziplock freezer bags, but they tend to cause ice crystals, so I started using the vacuum method. These bags are the PERFECT size for this. If you look in the picture, they are the ones with the BLUE circle on them. The plastic is the same thickness as the 2 that came with the unit. The zip is the same and I didn't notice any odd smell coming from them like some plastics tend to have. When I've finished consuming the meatballs, I just turn the bag inside out and give it a quick, soapy sponge off in the sink and hang them on the drainer to reuse. I recommend these for hand held vacuum units. They're efficient, quick and easy and the price is right!

Worked great with my handheld vacuum sealer. Now I have a small supply of bags. Great bags but you do have to find the sweet spot for vacuum sealing it is always not right in the center and you have to move sealer a bit to get air out. Great value

i discovered sous vide cooking a couple years ago, it’s amazing what you can do with this, i can turn the cheapest pieces of meat into the most tender roast, or a tough roast into a juicy steak. the secret is in the vacuum bags, you seal the meat in a bag, pull a vacuum on it and depending on how warm and how long you cook it is what you get out of it, i’ve even turned a 7 pound pork loin into the softest juiciest pulled pork you’ve ever seen. the bags may be the secret, but they are also the ongoing cost of using this system, and the bag prices are all over the place. this particular set is a good value for the number of bags, and comes with a low amount of useless trinkets other sellers use to pad the total piece count. i don't know how many bag sealing clips, bag holding clips, and replacement bag valves i have, but it’s probably close to a hundred, so much that it no longer fits in a gallon ziplock. these bags are durable, and have kept meat fresh in my deep freezer for over two years. i see a lot of people say these bags (all the bags with the blue zippers and blue seals are basically the same no matter which vendor is selling them) don’t seal well, let’s look at how they work, when you use the vacuum pump on the bag, it tears a little slit opening in the blue seal allowing the air to be vacuumed out of the bag, the blue seal is supposed to be self healing by simply pressing on it afterwards, but that is wishful thinking in my book, know what fixes it and is cheap insurance? a little piece of scotch tape, that’s all you need to keep the bags sealed in the freezer, and it even stays on when you put the bag in the sous vide tank to defrost it, no ice in the bag while frozen, and no water in the bag while reheating. i’ve only had one bag leak and it’s because i dropped it on the floor with frozen soup in it and cracked the corner of the bag.

Fantastic product. My vegetables are lasting so much longer and I'm saving money.
