I love this elegant lamp, so much more so than the lamp it replaced; In fact, I was so impressed with its wispy beauty and excellent lighting performance that I ordered a second one! Unfortunately, that one did not work. No worries as the refund was almost immediate, once the faulty item was on its way back. That very day I had ordered another one and it arrived two days later! So I was only without the light for a few days. One other reviewer had reported a similar problem. Despite the excellent packaging, it may be that some component was a little fragile. Anyway, the lamp is very easy to assemble and I recommend taking note of the packaging, just in case of return.

Far brighter than equivalent wattage compact florescent bulbs. Easy to put together. Nice look. Extremely good value for the money.Only thing I don't like is that I have these on a switched outlet, and they do not remember what dimmer setting they were set to. They always come back on at full bright. They also take 3-5 seconds to turn on once I flip the light switch.

When our old floor lamp died, I checked multiple places for a new one (including Target and Amazon). They all ranged from $80-$120! That seemed ridiculous for a floor lamp, so I was so happy when I came across this one. The price was much more affordable and the size was perfect for our living room. The highest setting is very bright and works well in our large room. My kids like the dimmer feature and that you can adjust it with just a finger tap. I've only had this lamp for a few weeks, but I've been very pleased so far!

From the 1st day I had this lamp it had funny electric cord. If I had the cord a certain way it would work, then it wouldn't. So I would move the cord and it would work. I figured no big deal, instead dealing with this return, I can deal with this. Until 1 day after Amazon 30 day warranty it totally stopped working. Delivered 10.13.18, So on 11.14.18 I immediately sent an email to Brightech Customer Service on this issue. It is 12.7.18 and I still get messages saying we will get automated messages saying, "we'll get back to you in one business day". I am VERY DISAPPONTED and STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I had not understood quite 'how' this torchiere worked, so when it was assembled and there was no obvious placeto install a bulb of any kind, I was dubious. BUT.....then I touched the power switch on the side of the pole, andVoila!! Excellent uplight, and dimmable. The lamp is handsome, extremely affordable and gives excellent illuminationto a previously dark corner of the living room. Am delighted with this purchase.

This unobtrusive, slender Torchiere produces a much brighter light than I expected, which is GOOD! It has 3 brightness settings on an easy-touch dimmer. I wish it was a tad taller, maybe 72" instead of 69"; and the pole, when assembled, is a little delicate, being very thin, and I wish it had more "weight." But it's a great accent light for most room corners and even bright enough for workspaces. The contemporary design of the shade looks superb! A great value, and the delivery was very swift!

This is a beautiful easy to assemble tall lamp. No more changing regular bulbs every month. It has a four way touch button midway on the pole for easy reach while I'm sitting. The LED light is already built in and the glass lamp has a beautiful etching work that makes it look very elegant. The base is nice and steady. Absolutely love this lamp.

I purchased this as a replacement for an aged, dimmable floor lamp with solid metal shade. This lamp is of much better quality. I really like the solid stable base. The finish and glass shade are also very good at this price point. It did not take me long to assemble it, but I did need to tie a string around the power cable plugs to pull them through the tubes that form the central column.This lamp throws a ton of light compared to the lamp it is replacing. It is plenty for the bedroom I am using it in. I also like the fact that there is no bulb, and it is dimmable via the touch switch. The old lamp was dimmable, but it makes annoying buzzing noises even when used with dimmable LED bulbs.I also thought Brightech did a nice job packaging the lamp. Everything was secure yet easy to open and organize before assembly. The glass shade had no issues. Overall I think the packaging was sufficient without being excessive. It's nice that everything can go straight into the recycling bin.I am really enjoying this lamp, and I will keep my eye open for Brightech products in the future!
