The Terminator with his skeleton arm exposed looks amazing. Wow I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. He looks very cool standing next to all my other collectibles.

Looks good
This figure in general is good, but when you close up to the face of the Terminator doenst look too much like Schwarzenegger. But the details in the robot arm are stunning

T-800 Badness
This is the NECA version of the T-800 from Terminator 2 played by everyone's favorite action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger. He reenacts the scene where the terminator reveals himself to be a cyborg to Miles Dyson by cutting the flesh from his left forearm off.For Kids:I'd place the fun factor for kids at medium due to a couple of factors. On the pro side it's a big beefy action man with a gun and a bloody robotic arm. Pretty cool and he could easily be hero or villain. On the con side he's from a movie not many younger kids today will be that familiar with. Also the articulation is a bit limited. For Adults:He comes in much higher on the scale for adult collectors - understandably considering that's the market this figure is targeting most likely. NECA walks a fine middle ground between detailed sculpts and articulation.Sculpt wise this figure is very impressive. First, the head is a very accurate likeness of Arnold from any angle down to intricate wrinkles in his neck and forehead and veins in his arms. Even the terminator flat top hair cut looks outstanding. Add to that realistic details and wrinkles sculpted into his clothing (you can even see muscle definition under the shirt) and the robotic arm and hand with detail right down to the knuckles and you have one sweet sculpt.Likewise on the paint; the skin and hair all looks great and there is no slop, not even on small areas like the eyebrows. It appears there may be some very light wash on the face to bring out some of those small sculpt details and it looks great. He's got black pants (also with detail wash) and boots, a brown belt and grey shirt. The robotic arm is silver covered in a smattering of red blood (since he just cut the flesh away).Because this guy is from a very specific scene and targeted to collectors he really only looks perfect in one pose - standing there all intimidating holding up his bloody robot arm. He has a ball joint at the bottom of his neck and it has great range of movement. He has ball shoulders and a cut joint on both arms at the sleeve but no elbow articulation and no wrist articulation on his right arm. His robot arm rotates at the elbow and wrist. There is a cut waist, a cut on his left thigh and both his feet rotate although the left one is very limited. NECA has only given the basic joints needed and none that would hurt the sculpt. As a matter of fact the only joints you can actually see at all is the pins in the ball shoulders. His only accessory is his pistol that fits in his right hand but it is scaled and detailed perfectly. For a kid I'd rate him 3 ½ to 4 stars since there are some factors limiting his playability but for the adult collector he looks so great he is easily 5 stars.
