Can the hair be styled, brushed or braided?

I had not tried until you asked this question but a reverse twist is easier than a braid due to it being very curly synthetic hair. It’s kind of difficult to separate because if the thick curly hair. My Granddaughter isn’t quite 2 so we have not explored styling her hair.

Can this doll get wet (example for bath time with a toddler)?

I have not tried it yet with my granddaughter, but she is a harder plastic baby doll. I imagine water would not hurt the doll; however, I’m not sure what the water would do to her hair.
