ACCO Brass Paper Fasteners, 3/4", Plated, 1 Case, 20 Boxes/Case, 100 Fasteners/Box (A7071703CS)

I got these for a small paper project. They work fine and are very durable. It's a good value, but I really only needed one fastener to complete my project.

I read so many bad reviews stating that this fastener cannot be used on standard sized, pre-punched holes. Well, duh! Did you read the description? The description clearly states that the head is 5/16" for the 3/4" fastener size and the head is 3/8" for the 1" fastener size. So, of course, you can't use those size fasteners with 1/4" holes. You have 3 options for successfully using the 1" and 3/4" sized fasteners: 1) You can use the built-in self-piercing feature 2) You can use a 1/16" punch along with the self-piercing feature 3) You can use a 1/8" punch (shown in the picture) The advantage of buying a 1/8" punch (as low as $8) is that you can also use it to punch additional holes in your belts as you gain weight like crazy during Covid because all you do anymore is shop on Amazon.

A little thin but for what we use them for, collating monthly financial statements (yes paper is still king), they work.

I hadn't used this kind of fastener in years, but these are just as I remember. Great for kids' electronics projects.

These were exactly the items I needed for a classroom project with my students. The shipping time was quick and the quality will hold up well enough to show future students what the finished product of the project can look like for many more classes to come.

Packaged in a small box. Well made, not flimsy. These are longer than I need, but will work just fine. I need them for children's projects holding only a few pieces of paper together and these are a little too long, (I should have gotten the 1/2 inch long). However, the head is also larger than ones I've gotten in the past, and I rather like that for little hands to use. It's approx. 3/8" across. I don't recall if that is in the description.

These clips also come in handy when working on a fencing project. 👍
