When I purchased this product I did so with no high expectations that it would do anything more than provide a visual deterrent for any prospective wrongdoers.Boy was I wrong. The camera was surprisingly easy to install and the associated app was very user-friendly so the whole set-up was extremely smooth.The general picture quality is surprisingly good, this is especially true for the nightvision. There is also a spotlight feature which you can activate at night which effectively turns night into day.Unless you are plump for the subscription plan (which I didn't) the motion sensor picks up everything in it's field and the camera will automatically record a ten or 20 second clip (your choice) while sending you a motion sensor alert to your phone.Now 20 seconds doesn't sound like a lot, however if you want a longer clip of a particular event then you can access the live feed on your phone and manually start recording direct to your phone You can also take still images from the live feed which will also be stored on your phone.This is all exactly what I needed and, so far has worked flawlessly.For me the most impressive aspect is the solar panel which powers the camera. I had no high expectations or this but, again have been pleasently surprised at how well this works, even with some of the low cloud cover we've had since I installed the camera. After the first week the battery is still almost on full power which is pretty good.All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and may well be picking up one or two more in the future.

I have had a couple of camera's before the one couldn't connect so had to send it back, the next one was like a light bulb and that one wouldn't work outside either, i did not want anything that needed connecting to the mains or subscriptions, and came across this camera on the black Friday deals, and took a chance and it turned out to be the best camera so far, you only connect it to a solar panel that comes with it, or you can use the usb if not enough daylight to charge it, even without the sd card as yet the camera is crystal clear, night vision is good, it alerts you every time anyone enters your property, plus it as an alarm and you can talk through it, it's been that good so far i purchased another one, we showed it to a friend who was impressed and ordered one straight away, would definitely recommend this camera.

Very simple to connect to the WiFi - the Solar Panel provides enough power so no need for a power cable. It just works - no problems.I didn't bother with all the online AI stuff - I just want a camera I can use to view equipment in the garden tome sure it is working properly while I'm away - and it does that perfectly with a good high definition picture. It sends alerts for movement detection, but I don't really need that feature for my use, but it seems to work well, for example if it was monitoring a gate or being used for security. It even records a short video when it detects motion, so it could be used as a remote wildlife camera (if a WiFi network is available) since it is self-powered frost eh solar panel. Better than I expected and perfect for my needs.

Decent image quality. Both day and night vision, for the price bracket, are very good. Connectivity is alright and can be enhanced with a wifi repeater. Installation is pretty simple. Cute little units. The separate solar panel keeps batteries at 100% and can be located away from the camera so as to collect sunlight where it is most intense. One camera wasn’t reporting its charge but customer service email replies were swift and they sent without delay another single unit to replace the problematic one. Wide field of view without loss of quality at the extremities (of course, straight lines will curve but quality otherwise persists). Video could be slightly smoother but is not a problem and some settings will overcome this. The sound at either end could be better but, at the price point, that’s being fussy. The app takes a brief moment to load but it doesn’t feel like forever and the app itself is tidy and intuitive. If you can get them on an Amazon deal then they’re a good purchase.

I have been generally pleased with X-Sense products, but this camera provides unpredictable live monitoring. I have 4 cameras and the logging and movement detection seems to work fine yet if attempt to do a live view, it usually takes at least 30 seconds to connect or, more frequently, gives up. I have reconfigured my wi-fi network several times to no avail, and a colleague with a similar setup has the same problem. Same for all cameras. X-Sense support was of no help. The setup, installation and reliability have all been good my other zigbee devices (connected via hub) are fine.

I didn't expect much from these cameras however I am very surprised and impressed.Not only do they show live data and historical data they record in night vision which works a lot better than expected.The mic installed into the cameras aren't great but doubt it'll be a feature I use so not fussed, over all decent camera for the price, very pleased.

Fit and forget - over a few months the battery has shown 100% and not gone down, by recharging itself from the solar panel, remarkable. Good quality picture. Good connection to wifi. Back in the day this sort of thing would have cost £400 not £40.

The camera performs well, although the first few seconds of motion aren't recorded.The solar panel keeps the battery at near 100%The issue is with the app.The app provides notifications and easy single click access to the recorded event, only when subscribed to a cloud service.I prefer not to use a Chinese located cloud and the app is severely crippled - no notifications and have to remove the SD card from the reader to access the recorded videos.So if you don't want to use the cloud, be warned, the crippled app is practically useless.
