Starting Your Own Shop: All you need to know to open a successful shop

A good book in general...however, there are a number of notable typo errors in the book, which raise alarms around attention to detail? Pity.

It really does seem to cover everything you need to know to start up in retail. A great resource that I keep refering to again and again.

This book is riddled with typos. The proof reader should be sacked. Also I don't think the writer has ever had a shop or worked in one. It's all a bit wishy washy for me. The sound bites from some 'big retailers' are also really really annoying.
