Great replacement, easy to install, works as intended. I actually had my 17 year old son do the replacement on his macbook himself. He was able to get everything swapped out with no issues and brought new life to the computer.

Macbook Air battery started to die pretty quickly lately. Maybe a couple hours of use. Looked at heading into an Apple store but schedule was going to be at least a week. Looked up some install videos and it seemed pretty straight forward. Installation was quick and easy. Plugged in and let it charge. Seems to be holding pretty well in the week I have used it since installation. Great value. $50 instead of $130 plus tax, plus the hassle of bringing it to Apple. Well done. Thanks.

There seem to be a zillion choices for MacBook Air battery replacements, and the prices are all over the lot. But they all look alike, and for all I know they all come from the same factory. And they all come with the special screwdrivers (2) you'll need to do the job (one for the case, the other for the battery). I ended up choosing this seller not because it was the cheapest (it wasn't) but because (a) the reviews were very good and (b) I know someone else who chose this seller and had good results. So far, at least, my results have been good, too. (The thing with batteries, of course, is how long they last, and that won't be known for quite a while (I hope!).) Installation is simple and straightforward. Take your time, work carefully, and while you're there, take the opportunity to clean the dust out, especially from the tiny little fan you didn't even know was in there. When you're done, be sure not to over-torque the screws that hold the battery in, or the ones that hold the case together. Oh, BTW. If you've got a MacBook as old as mine (mid-2012), you can forget about getting Apple to do the job. They no longer manufacture (or even stock!) batteries for such an "old" computer. Even if you get a repair shop to replace the battery, they won't be using an Apple product. So you might as well buy one of these aftermarket batteries and DIY. It's a breeze!

After a thorough research of Mac battery replacement options trying to determine the better battery, I decided to purchase this one, not bad so far compared to the original that drains in like half an hour. Only used for one day so far, I'm using mac Air (Mid 2013) model A1466, received the battery with 2 screw drivers as listed, very easy to install, had a charge of 32% when first installed. I fully charged the battery, removed the charger and let it sit over night untouched. This morning the battery was @ 91%, dropped 9% overnight. Been using the laptop now for about an hour and the battery is 85%. Full charge capacity is showing 8159mAH, however it's still showing service recommended, I don't think that affects the battery performance but possibly because it's not a genuine product. I'll keep using it and update this review as needed or if anything new with battery performance.

Worked out of the box as expected. I had an old macbook air whose battery died, but was otherwise in working condition, so I wanted to replace the OS and have it as a project computer. installation was very easy. The included screwdrivers fit the pentalobe screws exactly, so I didn't have to go fishing in my kit for the right sizes. I plugged it in, calibrated the battery, and it has been working like a breeze for a few weeks now. I have what feels like a brand new Linux machine and couldn't be happier with the result. Hopefully when this battery reaches its end of life, I can buy another one and get another decade out of my machine :)

Update 01/11/2021 - Well it's true you get what you pay for. After 1 year this "new" battery hasn't been able to hold a charge more than a couple of hours for months, it somehow went from being only 6 months old to being 2114 days (5 years old) and charge capacity has gone from 8190 to 6724 mAh capacity...such a piece of garbage, and I'll have to replace this piece of junk battery gain. AVOID!!! My Early 2014 Macbook Air started showing the dreaded "Service Battery" message. I tried every which way to clear it but nothing worked. I had over 700 cycles and figured it was time to replace it as it was a 6 year old laptop, and had started to run really slow and the battery would discharge after a couple of hours. Found this one and let me say, it works great. The battery capacity according to CoconutBattery comes it at 8190 mah which is above the 8000 mah design capacity. It was very easy to install thanks to Youtube. My laptop works great again and is back up to full power and speed.

I found this product and was happy that it was compatible for my MacBook. I was unsure at first but because of the reasonable price and I gave it a try and I am so happy I did. It was very easy to install and comes with the tools necessary to do this. The battery life really holds up and I couldn't be happier at the amazing price compared to replacing it with an apple battery. So very happy I decided to take the chance on this great product!

A few weeks ago, I installed this in my mid-2013 MacBook Air. Installation was a breeze except for the fact that the screwdrivers packaged with the battery were basically crap. I was able to inexpensively purchase better drivers here on Amazon and completed the battery swap in only a few minutes. Several weeks down the road, the battery is exceeding my expectations. It charges quickly, holds a charge for a long time, and my laptop has a new lease on life. Importantly, I did check out a few videos on YouTube that went into greater detail on MacBook battery swaps. There are some important extra steps to take, including fully charging and then fully discharging the battery after installation. Apparently this helps to preserve the battery life and ensure that it functions as well as it can. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this battery and would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

Dans le temps de la COVID-19, Impossible d'obtenir une batterie d'ordinateur Apple facilement chez Apple store pour mon Mac Book Air donc j'ai été heureux d'essayer celui-ci... Je ne suis certainement pas un bricoleur (mais ça suffit de regarder quelques videos Youtube pour apprendre la façon de faire le remplacement), je suis très heureux du résultat jusqu'à date car j'ai probablement économisé plus de 50% du prix par rapport au prix du remplacement chez Apple... Très bonne qualité à un prix raisonnable, d'autre commentaires ont été mitigés, mais je suis allé de l'avant et j'ai pris le risque avec les positifs de la marque. Je vous écris pour vous dire que je suis content de l'avoir fait. La batterie est aussi bonne que annoncée. C'est un travail de 15 minutes et à peu près n'importe qui peut le faire. Il n'a pas besoin d'un technicien informatique pour le faire. Très facile à installer, Il s'agit de 5 vis pour remplacer la batterie qui est fournie avec les outils nécessaires pour le travail. MacBook fonctionne comme s'il était tout neuf, n'a pas eu de problèmes depuis le remplacement. Je soupçonne que la durée de vie peut être plus courte que la batterie d'origine d'Apple, mais pour le coût et la facilité, c'est une option très solide. Je pourrais en acheter deux ou trois pour le prix d'un remplacement à l'Apple Store. Définitivement cette batterie pour tous ceux qui cherchent à garder leur vieux macbook en vie ! ! ! Je le recommanderais certainement jusqu'à présent. Je n'ai rencontré aucun des problèmes que d'autres critiques ont mentionnés. Mais evidemment Il est encore trop tôt pour parler de la longévité.

Bis jetzt bin ich begeistert, der Rechner ist schon 6 Jahre alt, wenn er damit auch nur noch 2 Jahre drauflegt war dies eine nachhaltige und tolle Investition und hat mir dann viel Stress erspart. Der Einbau ging leicht, Schrauben Deckel, Schrauben Akku ( insg. ca. 16 ) + 1x Steckverbinder, dafür brauchte man rein wie raus etwas Kraft.

The product is good but I don’t think the battery lasts for more than 4hours after full charge. Now the cycle is jst 100 I feel the battery won’t last long .
