They work fine. With 1 annoyance
If one sub flush back box thread suddenly becomes unusable, then these worked fine for me.Only annoyance is the screws are pozi headed, whereas every other UK back box screw in the history of the world is a flat head. Only aesthetics but a little bit annoying. Also the screws gaceva different head profile and are sit more proud in the socket and are just a bit bigger diameter than the standard screw so it's possible that they could be used in the original box if you can rethread the damaged thread in the box. Cheap, functional, good quality and saved me a lot of extra work. So can't complain too much... just a bit.

Doesn't fit surface boxes, only presumably wall sockets
I missed the caveat that they don't fit surface boxes, so my fault that they weren't of use to me. But seem a good thing for wall sockets.

Nice and secure
After installing some switches on thin wood in a van they were a little loose due to the holes cut. This allowed me to securely fasten the switch against the wood and prevent it from wobbling about whilst driving.I haven't been able to test this in a proper back box yet so can't comment on how well they fasten in there.

Saved me from a tedious replacement job
The fixing screw on a single socket in my porch was stripped when I needed to replace the socket, the solution was either fit a surface mount box, dig out the old flush-mount box or fix the problem with one of these little devices - the decision was a no-brainier, all I needed to do was knock the broken screw boss out and put one of these in its place - the socket is now fixed in place saving me hours of work or having an unsightly surface-mount box.
