Display is showing random readings and values are changing without any movement in the instrument's jaws. Changing battery didn't help as well. Made of plastic and quality wise okayish. Functionality is very bad, can get lot better readings by just looking and estimating length.

I have been using this product from last three days and I can say that the measurement is accurate , look and feel of the product is very good and sturdy and can be operated easily by first timers. It is value for money.

After a year the platic edges will flex and the reading become unusable

I wanted to measure a few screws from my GPU for re tapping so i picked up this calliper thinking well this should do it for a one time job,i won't be using it once i am done with the GPU. While the price isn't that high the calliper is barely usable. 1. Can't turn it off, you shake it or drop it turns back on. 2. Isn't accurate and can't hold its calibration (Zero) , 4 out of 5 times the measurement is very inaccurate as you can see in the video , i barely managed to measure the screw i wanted to and am still skeptical about its accuracy. My suggestion : Buy a better vernier calliper than this one even it costs a little bit more, i should have returned this when i had the option to but i am way past that window.

It's a high precision caliper with very good accuracy. The seller also provides a very good quality carry case which is very sturdy to protect the instrument. An extra battery is also included in the package. I would recommend it because it's the best you can get at this price.
