This is the BEST RED PEPPER POWDER I HAVE EVER USED. This is very mild and it is processed in a very clean facility folliwing the strict guidelines in South Korea. The BEST QUALITY. This is very famous red pepper in Korea. I have seen this factory via Maangchi YouTube when she went there and recorded. I was impressed how they processed the product from washing, drying and making the final product. I ordered 3 times in a row now. I can keep these fresh in the freezer for a long time. I hope they keep making this type of mild red pepper powders. This is not from China. In pursuit of finding quality pepper powders, I even ordered very expensive French pepper powder supposedly very good and mild from a very famous region in France. I was very disappointed and had to return. Hope this company will continue to make the same quality of mild red pepper powder I can enjoy. Thank you for making this available for purchase in the USA.

I really like these red pepper flakes!! The mild/spicy is hardly spicy at all, which i like because i can add more to my kimchi paste for that very red look and smokey flavor. Also i do think its overpriced. Ill buy again though unless i find a mild gochugaru thats not as spendy

I am going to use this product for making kim chi, and maybe Shio Kara raw squid, as well as for korean cooking generally. I grew my own korean daikon but have not harvested it yet. In my area, we only have Wang brand dried ground chili peppers for sale. So, I was excited to see this product and purchase it! I will revise my review after I make my kim chi next week!

These are grown in Korea and not China. They have a mild flavor and have worked well in my homemade kimchee.

The real deal. My only gripe is the heat level of mild is nonexistent. Even with no heat my braised tofu came out pretty good.

great quality. But really really not that spicy. I will buy more spicy version of this brand.
