This product works well initially. It didn’t hold my curly edges for 48 hours but it did well for a few hours and my edges did not completely revert back.

This doesn't start to get flaky until the second day and even then, it's easily fixed. My daughter put this to the test to see just how long the "48 hour hold" actually lasted. It has a light scent to it and is crystal clear. Smooth and easy to apply and wash out.

Goes on with strong hold but it does not hold beyond 2-5 minutes. There are other products that hold stronger and longer.
