Game changer
Just got this in today and have been super excited to give it a try. This thing is compact and almost fits in my pocket. I love this thing. I have been using it tonight and it is awesome. It is packaged great and well protected. The tool is heavy duty, not your cheap plastic or low quality metal tools here. I was impressed with the detail and accuracy of the square. Everything about this sceams high quality. I am a woodworker so having accurate high quality is an absolute must. Buy with confidence. This stuff is awesome. I will be telling all my friends and I will be using on a lot of new projects. Seriously love the size for smaller stock in my shop. Well done. This is a new Go To for me

The tool is great except the pin does not fit the holes
The triangle square is nice it fit underneath my miter saw blade to square it to the fence and to the bottom. It also worked well on my table saw.My only complaint is the pin that comes with the triangle does not fit into the holes of the triangle. Either the pin is oversized, or the holes are under size, possibly due to the anodizing on the tool. I don’t use the pin so it doesn’t really matter to me however, if someone needed to use that pin, you would need to sand the pin, maybe by chucking it into a drill and some fine grit sandpaper to reduce the diameter.Aside from the pin finish issue, I like the tool.

Excellent for a small square!!
The Goingmake Small Carpenter's Square is a great and accurate tool. The scribe holes are very helpful - and yes you will need a good auto pencil, a No 2 is way too large...the range of sizes is not found on other squares. For those who are not experienced with Imperial measurements, Goingmake offers a large square as well at a great price with the same excellent qualities! Spend the bucks for what you need instead of leaving a bad review!Compared to other aluminum squares with the accuracy and less options, the well known brands are priced for people with huge budgets, while this company has surpassed expectations with pricing. Thanks Goingmake!

Nice Product
I am a former manufacturing and quality assurance engineer so my reviews are written from that perspective. This is a really nice product, and I will be buying more Goingmake products based on this.I did check the square-ness with an L.S. Starrett double square that I acquired years ago via a retiring tool and die maker. All the surfaces appear very square except for the internal surface where all the pencil holes are located. I assume this is because some distortion was introduced to this surface when creating all those holes so closely together. Even this surface was square "on average". That is, the surface touched my Starrett square at both ends, but did allow some minor amount of light to pass in the center. This should NOT materially effect the accuracy of layouts for the types of work for which it is intended, including very fine cabinetry work.If I had 10 Stars available, I would give it a 9, but since I only have 5 Stars, I gave it 4 Stars. I seldom ever give perfect scores since everything can be improved at some level. I would recommend this product, and this brand if this is any indication of the quality they routinely deliver.
