The adhesive has melted on the window of my car And will not come off ! The whole thing fell off and I am not able to use it anymore.

The magnet is not strong. I realized it too late that, unlike other APPS2CAR mounts that have 6 magnets, this particular mode only has 4. The weakness is apparent as I mount the metal plate inside the phone case underneath the case's back cover, which was my preferred way to hide the hideous looking black metal plate. The suction cup is solid, so is the goose neck and the ball joint link. The whole part being solid, especially the stiff goose neck, actually works against it. It's mounted on a flat shiny surface next to the shifter so it's solid. That being the case, whenever I slam the door, all the vibration is transferred quite effectively up to the magnet housing and that causes the phone to disengage and drop to the floor. Bad news! Like anything else, it's only as good as the weakest link. Steer clear away from this one!

I am VERY happy with this product. No only was the price GREAT, but it works better than I could have ever imagined. I LOVE the flat magnetic disk to be placed on the back of the phone as, as opposed to those monstrosities that stick out almost an inch.I had hears stories about the window mounts falling off of the windshield and I can happily state that mine is STILL EXACTLY where I placed it.GREAT product.

The magnet is powerful. The mounting plate that hold the phone in place holds it securely and it swivels so you can adjust your phone's position to your liking. My only complaint is that the directions for assembly we're incomplete. It seemed to be written by someone who speaks English as a second language. I have a small car so I opted to mount it to the windshield. It has a powerful suction cup with a lever that locks it securely in place. The suction cup has a tacky residue for added strength. No need to worry about your phone falling though I recommend you remove it from your phone wallet if you use one. My husband helped me and together we we're able to figure out the mounting instructions.. I only got it yesterday and used it for the first time today. It exceeded my expectations. The cost was minimal compared to the miriad other products that are made for the same purpose. I will update if need be if my opinion changes in the future.

I purchased this for the use with my Amazon Echo Show 8 and installed it on my counter top as a stand. It holds my Echo Show 8 with no problem with the magnet being quite strong and attaching to the bottom of the Show. It holds the device about 6.5" up and allows me to pivot and tilt as needed since the support arm is very strong also. Of course you must be careful if touching the screen too hard, but I have been able to successfully touch the screen and control the device with voice with no problems. I'm pleased with this product thus far.

I bought this because I didn't want to block my air vents. I had a flat smooth area under my clock on my Kia Sorrento, so I decided to try this one after reading the reviews. So glad I did! This base STICKS, so make sure you do a "dry run" before you stick it down. The arm is flexible, but stays where you put it. The place where you put your phone rotates and you lock it into place when you get it where you want it. My case already had a magnet on it, so I did not have to use the included one. My phone stays put, it's in a safe place so it doesn't obstruct my driving view, and it doesn't block my AC. LOVE THIS.

I've had this for two months... This was a horrible buy. The only reason it sticks to your windshield is because it's covered in glue. Once it's on, it is on. There's no moving it and you'll have glue all over your windshield when it's taken off. Then, it won't stick again. Plus, the magnetic holder isn't stable and will constantly drop down. Not a good purchase.

I've bought three different types of magnetic phone holders over the last two and a half years and have been generally happy until they break (usually at the base), or become too loose to hold the phone (head doesn't stay tight). This is the first one I've bought that hasn't started to go weak and wobbly within a few months. I'll re-visit this in 6 months to a year to update.***UPDATE***8 months later and through one of the hottest summers in history and this phone holder is still securely mounted to my window and holding my phone securely when I drive. Very happy with this product.

I normally use the magnet vent holders. But I just bought this car & vent holders won’t work in it because the vents are too deep.I was sceptical. I thought like any other car cell holder I’d have to go buy much stronger adhesive but this is not only strong but it’s not mounted flat , it’s on an angle & super strong. You could land a helicopter on this sucker. ! It ain’t going anywhere. Magnet is strong enough for my iPhone 7. I already had a magnet build into my case. It’s strong & holds well.

I've driven around for a few weeks with this now and it's terrific. The magnet is very strong. My phone stays on securely. Adhesion to my dash is great. It's a combination of suction and a sticker. You do need to find a flat space on your dash of course. I was a bit concerned at first because I didn't realize how contoured my dash is but I did find a spot and it's perfect. I had to wrestle with the arm of it bending it a fair bit before I got it into a good position but I managed it. I haven't had to readjust anything since. I haven't gone off-roading or anything and I don't plan to but I have gone over a lot of gnarly speed bumps and the phone stays secure.

Most phone mounts I get have a small rattle. The Magnetic mount on this significantly reduces the amount of moving parts. I take my car to the local race track (TMP) and the mount stays stable and hold the phone through 1.2g corners.I'm glad to say after 3-4 mounts and close to $200 spend on these damned things, I've found one that meets my "car ocd". Quiet, and sturdy.

The dash was curved and it didn't stick at all. I got frustrated and did some Googling. I used rubbing alcohol to clean grease or polish off the dash and then I had press down ridiculously hard and close the clamp. It's really stuck on there right now. Impressive. String magnet. I've hit a lot of nasty potholes and the phone hasn't jarred loose. Only.issue is it is kind of expensive. That said it is very well made.

After fighting with multiple cheap, crappy magnetic suction mounts, I decided to spend more in the hopes of getting something good. This was a good choice!The suction cup is also sticky, which makes it stick to the window perfectly - but it's hard to remove and replace, because it sticks so well, and because you'd need to keep the plastic cover for when you remove. So, great for something you attach and leave in place, not great if you want to remove and reattach it or move it around a lot.The magnetic head stays in place without getting loose and needing to be re-tightened, and the magnets are very strong - my phone has never shifted or fallen off.
