Quality Iron
The Electrolux Professional Steam Iron is the best clothes iron I've owned in many years. It isn't so lightweight that I have to apply too much pressure, the feel is comfortable, it is made well and works well. I also appreciate the quality box and the mat that is in the bottom of the box to set the iron on. The mat feel of the handle is appreciated as it doesn't feel slick and slip while handling the iron. The iron controls are easier to move than my last iron and can be easily read. The Electrolux brand did well on this one, I highly recommend it.

Amazing Iron
Love this iron. It's so easy to use and the design fits into the corners of clothing smoothly. Glides easily and looks stylish. The cord is long enough too. The only feature that I have to get used to is the steam and the water spray button are flipped (steam is usually the left button, but it's the right button on here) compared to any other irons I've had in the past so I'll have to retrain that muscle memory. Lol Comes with a very nice box and heat resistant mat for the iron.

Almost as good...
For more than a decade we, one quilter/seamstress and one longarm quilter, relied on a Sunbeam Durathon Model 19800. One of which is still in service after more than six years. Sunbeam fixed something that wasn't broke and "improved" it. The new model Durathon, model 19805 was not an improvement. The first one shocked me, the second one became a back up after and extensive search for a replacement. Enter this Electrolux. Works as good, even a tad bit better than the 19800. Biggest draw back is the "tinted" water tank. Really hard to see the water line when filling. But the all black looks good on my ironing table. Heats up quickly, produces a good amount of steam, smooth over different fabrics and effective as the discontinued Sunbeam...even though twice as costly. The true test will be if it is as long lasting as the previous workhorse. If so, will buy again when the last two 19800 need to be retired. We have four ironing stations throughout the house and studio. Irons play a major role in our daily lives.

Great Iron!
My cat recently chewed through the cord of our old iron. I needed an iron fast and found this Electrolux. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at the packaging. A nice, sturdy box housed the iron. Inside it said a box worth keeping. That was definitely well said. The box is almost as great as the iron. I wasn't paying much attention to the color of the iron since I was ordering for delivery speed and need. The iron is gorgeous. Black with rose gold highlights. It is a very solid iron with an extra long cord, which I love. The iron heats up quickly. The steam is pretty powerful. Overall, this is the best iron I've had in the past 10 years.

Terrible! Defective!
I’m so mad I didn’t send this thing back in time! The red light should turn green, which I just realize about a week ago when I still in the return period. But iron got hot so let it go. Today my brother calls me frantically stating brown stuff and shooting out. So apparently it just have rusted. I’ve left water in irons and never rusted after leaving water in for a week. I am kicking myself because I knew I shouldn’t have kept this over priced iron.

Seems Like a Good Mid-Range Iron
After 30 years, my iron finally gave up on me. I've read many reviews about many irons and this one looked like it might be what I was looking for. I ordered and received the very next day. After opening the box, I examined the iron. I want to make it clear that I did not test/use the iron for a specific reason. When I found this iron online, none of the pictures showed the faceplate of the iron, which was very important to me. The description said that it put out lots of steam. Because I sew, I iron.... a lot! Steam is a very important feature for me in an iron. After examining the faceplate, it had less than 40 holes for steam. It did have another (approx) 75 holes, but they were not open holes, more for decoration possibly, but it was obvious they would not produce steam. I looked online again to see if I could find anymore information about this iron. I couldn't find anything to help me. But in examining the iron - which was safely packaged... triple boxed - I found it to be a nice weight, comfortable to hold in my hand, and probably easy to use. It had a long cord and the temperature settings were not too difficult to see. My old iron was white with very little color, easy to read settings. I've noticed that irons made today may be a little more difficult to read because they are all colored, possibly to make the iron look a bit more sleek and glamourous than older irons. I re-boxed the iron to return, knowing that it would not work for me. With that said, it may be a very good iron to others. I believe it would be a good mid-range iron for those that do not iron as much as I do. The description says it has a high wattage, which is a good thing. Just did not mention about the faceplate other than it being ceramic. Would be helpful to have a picture of the faceplate pictured.

I truly impressive clothes iron
I was considering purchasing a very expensive steam iron press to iron napkins, tablecloths and the occasional dress shirt. Instead, I tried purchasing an 18 inch wide ironing board and this iron and i am extremely happy. I’m able to iron large items all at one time without having to move them around the ironing board. This saves time and produces a better effect. To be honest, every other iron that I have purchased has been around $20 and from a company that also produces electric drills. There is no comparison. It has a smooth surface and the weight distribution is perfect. You don’t get tired using it. Most importantly, I saved over $200 by not buying a steam press and also not having to worry about where to store it.
