Sorry, buying this item should have been a no-brainer. Research shows that many of the brand name dental floss and dental picks contain PFAS (those dastardly forever chemicals) and that certainly could not be good for you, your family, or the planet. SO I did some research and decided to try sustainable silk floss. It's natural and as far as I can tell doesn't contain anything untoward. HOWEVER, when I tried this product the floss just kept breaking and breaking...I could not finish 1 floss without a mess. So had to return them...but the idea for them is great!

I was looking for dental floss that was without plastics and chemicals and came across nudge, seemed to have good reviews. Initially, I felt like it did good, on the cleaning side, albeit I thought the string was really thin. Then I came to a couple of teeth that are tighter than the rest, and it broke and stuck in between the 2 teeth. Oh my, I guess I need to get more string to work it out, I thought, but that broke too in the same area. And, even with my normal dental floss, couldn't get out the broken string tucked into my gums. This dental floss is WAY too think. Breaks easily. In all my years, Ive never had dental floss break in the middle of using it and then cannot remove it. So I type this with it stuck still, in between those 2 teeth, at the base of my gums and can only hope it will dissolve. Yikes!

The only natural dental floss that I could find. Works great. I almost didn’t buy because of the reviews saying it breaks. It doesn’t break easily and I feel better knowing I am not adding additional chemicals in my body.

I have crowded teeth and cannot floss with this product. It’s too thick, it frays too easily, and it gets stuck in my teeth. It’s also expensive, though I generally don’t mind paying extra for better products. It doesn’t matter how healthy of a flossing option it is if it prevents you from flossing. This product is so bad that it leads me to not floss at all. I’m back to using floss with undisclosed material - at least that prevents gingivitis.

I like that this floss is natural and free of harmful coatings (who knew that dental floss contained PFAs and other risky chemicals?). However, it is about as thin as sewing thread, and broke off between my teeth the first time I used it, leaving a bit of thread that was hard to get out. Perhaps it is best for perfect, smooth, widely-spaced teeth, but I will be putting it in my sewing kit.

I had ordered a container of Nudge. It was average to above average. So I reordered 2 more containers since I had run out. The quality of this container was horrible. Wouldn’t go between teeth and then would go between teeth and get stuck and/or break. Just used and the Nudge broke and lodged between teeth. Literally I have a 1/2 inch piece of the floss stuck between my teeth and can’t get out. Tried another floss to get out the lodged piece between teeth. Won’t budge. Tried to get out with fingers and tweezers. No luck. May have to go to dentist tomorrow to get it removed. Do not buy! Waste of money and time.

I am very happy it was PFA free but my teeth are too close together so this floss broke.

Used regularly, this floss will go between normal teeth maybe a half dozen times before it breaks. It would take a few strands to do a full mouth floss. But I have a tight pinched tooth that traps food. I double over the floss strands and tie them together and it takes maybe 6 tries to get it so that it does not break going into the teeth. I had read the other reviews that mentioned the poor durability and easy breakage, and thought I would buy these and at least have the containers to buy refills from other brands to put in them, but they are also cheap and worthless. drop the container on the ground, the lid goes flying. Carry these in your pocket, when you pull it out the lid will be off and you have to re-thread it. all around cheap junk.
