Not as "heavy" as advertised, but sturdy material, not thick. It is kind of stiff. Bonus is the shoe bag, convenient and won't get clothes soiled. It expands nicely to hold more than one suit. This is good because the lady in your life can also put her outfit with your suit. That is convenient for short duration trips when you don't want to take much luggage, but still need non-wrinkled formal wear.

I have purchased two or three of these. The material is pretty strong. I will buy more of these as my old suit bags wearing out. The length is quite long so make sure it fits in your closet. I have two closet bar hangers (one above the other) so my space below the upper bar is fairly short. The bottom half of my garment bag hangs over the second bar. I feel very comfortable taking this bag on a trip as well. Decently strong. Nice product.

Not a heavy duty garmet bag as described. It's a lightweight cloth cover for a suit / shirt / pants. Definitely not a stand alone travel bag.
