Product came exactly as described, including the stir bar. Their recipe for their broth is very nice, I put it to use immediately and my mycelium is thriving. This picture is only after 6 days of growth. It's been showing huge growth development on a daily basis.Excellent product, no doubt about it!!

Been using this product for awhile and the quality is very consistent in quality. I had one bad batch that had gotten frozen in shipping no fault of the company and they immediately replaced. Will continue to use, super customer service, highly recommended AAAA+++++

I had high hopes for this LC, the seller sold grain bags which worked great for me. However this LC arrived with little strands/string in it. Almost looked like a small piece of hair or something, but despite these redflags i injected the jar. Within two days it had floaters in it; i cant tell if it is mycelium since it doesnt look like it at all. The jar also became very murky and you cant see through it anymore. However im hoping its just having a rough start and is not totally contam'd. They also sent a replacement which was unfortunately a total bust

I have ordered this product a couple times before this time and had zero issues although this time after purchasing I noticed the solution appeared cloudy. I contacted seller to be told that’s what happens when they change filters and everything was OK so I inoculated my last bit of culture to Save genetics only to lose them due to contamination issues. This was done under a flow hood where I’ve had no other contamination problems. But I thank them forgiving me the determination & courage to make my own liquid culture mix for my libraries needs.

Using this kit, I'll soon be producing 20 times the amount of liquid culture from a single 10ml syringe purchased from another company. I’m using this kit with a magnetic stirrer on a timer, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the speed of growth. The liquid is very clear and appears extremely healthy. I’m excited to start inoculating grain sooner than I expected.I believe many of the negative reviews for this product stem from factors unrelated to the kit itself or from user errors, such as using a poor starter culture or inadequate stirring—mistakes I’ve made myself. Always test your culture on an agar plate before cloning or inoculating, as I’ve wasted significant materials and time on dead cultures.While it is a bit pricey for what it is, making a jar yourself would take a couple of hours. This kit is ready to use right out of the box.

I had high hopes for this kit. The packaging is wonderful and the price was good. I recently just moved states and don’t have the opportunity to set my flow hood up just yet. I do, however, have a still air box that I work out of for the time being. I had very little culture of genetics I saved from previous grows. I was hoping to stretch the culture. This kid seemed perfect. I did notice a few black specs near the rim on the inside of the glass. Against my better judgment, I inoculated the media. Within the first four days, the growth rate was amazing! So, whatever their mix is there some nutrient dense stuff. However, along with the mycelial growth, the black specs began to grow as well, lining just above the liquid line. I’m not exactly sure what it is, but I know I’m not trying to feed whatever contamination this is and lose all these genetics. I did reach out via Amazon to the seller about a week ago and haven’t heard back. I wanted to hold off on leaving a review. I will also update if anything changes or I hear back from the seller. I will definitely be keeping the jar, but it seems like a very expensive jar lol. I will also test the culture on agar to be sure.
