I've been wanting a Kokeshi doll for awhile especially one made in Japan. I saw this while scrolling and though it was pretty. Once I got the kokeshi doll, it was bigger than I expected which is great. Made me happier to see how gorgeous it is in person and the craftsmanship is very nice.After buying this one, I am tempted to buy another kokeshi doll from this brand.

A lovely gift with great detail

Doll looks as pictured. I like the unique brown haired kokeshi dolls. Usaburo is one of my favorites. Started my twin nieces on a collection when they were born. This will be doll 6 for one of them.

This is a beautiful Kokeshi made by Tanaka-san of Kōjō Kokeshi Kōbō a family of Kokeshi crafts makers. All of whom have won awards for their various Kokeshi designs.
