DO NOT BUY THIS! FIRE HAZARD!
The media could not be loaded. I am an automotive techinician, I use woven electrical tape all the time for wire repair and harness protection, but mostly shop supply, name brands and trusted stuff, somthing like that.This time I decided to buy some for myself, keep it at home and my shop tool box for side works or emengency.But I must say, I know something is fishy as soon as I took it out of package.The texture and fabric thread density is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I use in the shop, just by touching, I can tell this is NOT the right stuff!The tape I use in shop has very durable texture and you cannot see through it, this is not the one.Texture is not the only problem, it is actually NOT FIRE RESISTENCE!!!I included a short video showing it catches on fire, and keep burning after I removed it from the source.I am very sure that proper woven electrical tape SHOULD NOT catch fire, and even if it does, should not keep burning.I am returning this immediately.NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY IT!NOT FOR ANY KIND OF JOB YOU MAY NEED IT FOR!FOR YOURS AND ANYONES SAFETY CONCERN, STAY THE FK AWAY FROM IT !!!
