For my tension a find best results with a 5mm. It comes with a Bamboo Hook (random hook size of 4-6mm). I use a metal tipped hook & save these lovely bamboo for the school kids.The yarn is Hoooked Eco Barbante - this is 85% recycled cotton and 15% other recycled fibres. So it is has no give to work with. It's almost string like - so If you don't like using don't buy the Kit and moan.It does not come with stuffing so don't expect any.All the kits if made correctly are child / baby friendly & safe (on your choice of stuffing).Kids LOVE them & they last forever.Highly recommended - I have made approximately 25 of these kits now.
