MAKIOL WATER GEL CREAM by BOTANITY is what my thirsty skin needed!!! The struggle has been real to find a moisturizer that works across the seasons and that doesn’t break out my skin. Thankfully, MAKIOL WATER GEL CREAM by BOTANITY has got me covered! This water-infused gel cream feels silky, cool, and hydrating against my skin. It easily absorbs, leaving an instant youthful glow! Super gentle, and no irritation for my sometimes sensitive skin. The recipe has a powerhouse of plant extracts to bring balance, strength and rejuvenation like some of my faves; centella asiatica extract, seaweed extract, sea buckthorn fruit extract, tea tree leaf, and hyaluronic acid. The results are amazing!!! My skin’s texture has a hydrated bounce, less breakouts, and overall radiance.

This gel cream is really good for skin and on pores too. It helps to get rid of excess oil on skin by maintaining hydration. I get really impressed with this gel cream as it’s One of light in texture plus so gentle on my skin. I get oil on specific areas of my face like on chin and nose area and i have noticed it helps to reduce it. It also gives a healthy glow on my face plus hydrate face throughout the day.

The Makiol water gel cream has been fantastic about reducing the amount of oil on my skin which has helped immensely in preventing breakouts. The best part is that this doesn't dry out my skin like other sebum reducing products do. It's suitable for daily wear and layers perfectly under makeup. I loved that the Water Gel cream was comparable in price to other sebum reducing products but the quality of ingredients is so much better! I'll be needing to purchase a second Makiol set soon now that my teenager has gotten her hands on it.

I have used this product for about 6 months now, when summer time first started. I will say this does the job here and there on the control of oily skin/excess sebum. My skin for sure felt less greasy. HOWEVER: it is not hydrating enough at all! I have slight redness on my T-Zone now (where my oiliness is) and my skin texture is a bit rough, similar to when I face dry skin issues in the past. I usually would use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Fragrance Free, as that usually kept me moisturized, but it didn't really feel penetrating/hydrating toward the skin and it also left me kind of greasy, so I wanted to try this. It definitely does the job, but after 6 months of using it, I am unpleased with the hydration levels and will be using other products.

I love the lightweight feel of this product. Very moisturizing. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, was because it dried out my under eyes like crazy. I do have sensitive under eyes anyway though; so maybe it’s a really good product and my skin just needs love. Other than that, loved it.

This is the perfect lightweight moisturizer. It makes me feel so refreshed and clean without feeling heavy or leaving residue. It’s a definite must have for your skin care routine!

It's really nice to apply after washing my face. I don't use it all the time, as I have combination skin. However, when I remove my makeup after wearing it all day and go through my makeup routine, I apply this product, and it refreshes my skin. I wouldn’t describe it as a holy grail or a miracle worker, but it definitely makes my face feel fresh after a long day!

I really wanted to like this product. I have combo skin that’s dry in some areas but oily in others. I had to apply it 3 times before my face didn’t feel dry anymore. It has no smell really which I like and seems like a quality product but just wasn’t moisturizing for my specific skin. It didn’t make my skin feel moisturized.
